David ‘dehhhhh’ Coleman is the new #1 ranked player in New Jersey heading into NJSCOOP.

There’s a new sheriff in the state of New Jersey and his name is David ‘dehhhhh’ Coleman. The New Jersey Online Poker Rankings have been in flux for most of 2017 and Coleman represents the latest shakeup.

Coleman put together a month that included 10 total victories and 13 additional podium finishes. The largest score for Coleman came in the WSOP.com $215 buy in $30,000 guaranteed Spring Poker Series Event #1 where Coleman earned $10,500 for his victory. Overall, Coleman is a little over $5,000 away from reaching the $500,000 mark in career online earnings.

Falling one place from first to second is Yong ‘ykwon17’ Kwon. Kwon put together six wins, the largest of which being the $250 buy in $15,000 guaranteed Super Tuesday on PokerStarsNJ. That win was worth $6,291 to Kwon.

Jeremy ‘Jermz’ Danger drops another spot in the rankings after being second in March. Even though he is now number three, Danger was able to attain 14 victories during April.

For the second consecutive month, Daniel ‘wildman75’ Buzgon takes fourth in the rankings. Similar to March, Buzgon focused most of his efforts on playing live poker, primarily at the Borgata Spring Poker Open. That said, he was still able to attain a trio of top-three finishes.

Also holding steady at their respective ranking from the previous month is Daniel ‘centrfieldr’ Lupo. Lupo found himself victorious in two events including the $500 buy in $15,000 guaranteed Tuesday Showdown on WSOP.com, worth $6,211.

In sixth place, once again, is Craig ‘craigruby’ Rubenstein, who spent most of his April at the Borgata but still found time to win four MTTs.

Jumping up from ninth to seventh in Mike ‘Lav519’ Lavenburg. It was a highly productive month for Lavenburg, who took down first place in seven tournaments.

Climbing one spot from nine to eight is Mike ‘MikeyCasino’ Azzaro. Azzaro won six events in New Jersey and earned over $10,000 for a win on a non-New Jersey regulated site.

Moving from eight down to nine is Fred ‘BiggDaddy’ Ferrell, who won an astounding 19 tournaments over the course of April.

Rounding out the top-10 is Jason ‘JLaw’ Lawhun, who came up from out of the rankings to earn a spot among New Jersey’s elite.

With NJSCOOP starting this weekend on PokerStarsNJ, the results from those events will go a long way toward deciding the rankings for the month of May.
