RANKINGS: Early SCOOP, Powerfest Results Lead to Top 10 Shake Up
The name on top of the PocketFives Rankings didn’t change this week, but there was plenty of movement in the top 10 behind ‘lena900’. Eight of the top 10 changed this week including two Swedes taking over the #2 and #3 spots.
The first week of PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker and partypoker Powerfest had an impact on nearly every player and ‘lena900’ is no different. The Swedish grinder, who took over the #1 spot in mid-March, had three scores impact his overall PLB points total this past week. He finished 11th in SCOOP Event #6 ($1,050 Six Max NLHE) for $12,038 and 228.28 points on May 7 and then finished runner-up in the Powerfest Event #12 for $24,093 and 298.5 points the next day. He wrapped up his week by beating out 95 other players to win the PokerStars $320 Six Max NLHE event on May 9. He now sits 606.37 points ahead of his nearest competitor.
Five qualifying cashes, including the second biggest points score of his career, moved ‘inhoo’ from #4 to #2 this week. He finished 24th in SCOOP Event 32 (High) for $3,745 and 128.56 points to start the week. Later that same day he finished fourth in SCOOP Event #6 (High) for $62,505/418.86. He then finished runner-up in Powerfest Event #38 for $9,945/159.57 on May 8. The next day he finished fifth in SCOOP Event #12 (Super Tuesday SE) for $68,992 and 451.77 points – the most he had earned since ….. “ His final qualifying cash of the week came in a PokerStars $109 Six Max Hyper Turbo where he finished runner-up for $4,718/127.01. This marks the highest ranking of his career.
Not to be outdone, ‘Ariados’ posted an astonishing eight qualifying cashes to jump from #7 to #3. All told he added 1,944.35 points to his total and is now just 388.91 out of second place – which is his career high.

Fabrizio ‘SixthSenSe19’ Gonzalez fell from #2 to #4, ‘C Darwin2’ moved from #3 to #5 and Nicolas ‘PokerKaiser’ Fierro dropped from #5 to #6. Andreas ‘r4ndomr4gs’ Berggren, the fifth Swede in the top 7, moved up from #9 to #7. Germany’s ‘pappadogg’ moved up one spot to #9 and former #1-ranked Patrick ‘pleno1’ Leonard climbed back to #10 from #13.
The only player other than ‘lena900’ to stay in the same spot was Conor ‘1_conor_b_1’ Beresford, who stayed at #8.
