Fabrizio ‘SixthSenSe19’ Gonzalez seems pretty comfortable at the top of the PocketFives Rankings

It might be harder to dislodge Fabrizio ‘SixthSenSe19’ Gonzalez from the #1 spot in the PocketFives Rankings than anybody imagined. The Uruguayan poker pro held onto the top spot this past week with only two cashes – and only one of them good enough to add to his lead.

Gonzalez finished 109th in the PokerStars Mini Sunday Million but that had no impact on his score, but his first place finish in the 888 poker $45,000 Turbo Mega Deep earned him $9,243 and an additional 212.6 PLB points. He now has a 476.68 point lead on his closest competitor, Alex ‘alexd2’ Dimitrov.

Dimitrov certainly did his best to try and close the gap this past week. Dimitrov, who is #2 for the third straight week, put in a full schedule of tournaments over the last seven day and found a good score in the PokerStars Sunday Grand, finishing fifth for $17,418/205.38. It was his only qualifying cash of the week.

Continuing to hold on to the #3 spot Joao Mathias ‘joaomathias’ Baumgarten also had just a single cash strong enough to add to his PLB points total. The Brazilian won the PokerStars Big $215 last Wednesday to win $10,913 and earn 239.58 points.

While the top three spots remained the same over the last week, the players sitting at #4 and #5 swapped spots. ‘lena900’, who won the October Monthly PLB crown, passed fellow Swede ‘C Darwin2’ on the strength of his win in the partypoker Heavyweight Uppercut for $9,500 and 223.61 and a runner-up finish in the PokerStars Omania High Roller for $7,986/152.03. Banking over 375 points in those two events while ‘C Darwin2’ did not record a single qualifying cash moved ‘lena900’ up to #4 an the #1 spot in Sweden.

Swede’s also occupy the #6 and #7 spots. Andreas ‘r4ndomr4gs’ Berggren maintained his hold on #6 but Johannes ‘Greenstone25’ Korsar moved from #8 to #7. Berggren won the Winamax Monster Stack for $3,821/118.28 and finished fourth in the Winamax High Roller for $6,332/115.38. Korsar moved up after winning the PokerStars $109 Six Max Hyper Turbo on Sunday and finished sixth in 888 poker $100,000 Baby Whale for $4,616/112.47.

Moving from #10 to #9 this week was former #1-ranked Nicolas ‘PokerKaiser’ Fierro. The Chilean poker pro moved up that one spot thanks not to his own work, but the aging scores of those around him. Conor ‘1_conor_b_1’ Beresford fell from #9 to #10 after seeing some of his previous scores count for less. The British pro dropped despite banking $10,936/197.27 in the PokerStars $215 Monday Six Max.
