Fabrizio ‘SixthSenSe19’ Gonzalez is back on top of the PocketFives Rankings after spending one week at #2 (SHRPO photo)

It would seem that Fabrizio ‘SixthSenSe19’ Gonzalez didn’t take too kindly to falling from the #1 spot in the PocketFives Rankings last week. The Uruguayan rebounded this past week to reclaim the top spot from Sweden’s ‘lena900’.

Gonzalez had just two cashes big enough to add to his PLB points total, but they were good enough to get him back to the top of the rankings. Gonzalez beat out 157-player field in the PokerStars Omania High Roller Five Card Pot Limit Omaha for $9,540.07 and 217.03 PLB points. Four days later he finished ninth in Event #31 of the PokerStars Turbo Championship of Online Poker. The $215 Six Max No Limit Hold’em event had 1,608 and Gonzalez earned $3,900 and 153.54 points for his finish.

‘lena900’ also had two qualifying cashes. The first was a win in the parypoker Drago: Heavyweight last Thursday. He earned $3,651 and 134.91 points. He followed that up with a runner-up finish in TCOOP Event #22, a $215 Six Max No Limit Omaha Hi-Lo tournament, for $7,283 and 165.47 points. Earning just 300.38 points in the week, combined with some of his older scores falling off of his total, gave Gonzalez the opportunity to swap spots with him. ‘lena900’ is now 351.95 points out of top spot.

Another Swedish phenom, ‘C Darwin2’, held on to the #3 spot this week and Alex ‘alexd2’ Dimitrov maintained his #4 ranking. The next player to move up was Anton ‘AnteSavante’ Wigg.

The bulk of Wigg’s points this week came from a pair of wins on Saturday. He won the 888poker $20,000 Crocodile for $4,967/151.99 and immediately grabbed another $5,116/149 after winning a $215 buy-in PokerStars Turbo NLHE event. He wrapped up the week with a fifth place finish in the $1,050 Sunday Grand PLO for $10,922/164.32.

Andreas ‘r4ndomr4gs’ Berggren moved from #8 to #6 thanks to a huge win on Winamax. The Swedish pro, who ranked #1 in 2014, beat out 3,166 other players to win the Winamax.fr W Series Event 100 for $17,198 and 439 PLB points – his highest PLB score ever. He also won the PokerStars.fr Nightly on January 18 for $4,431/151.54. His last big score of the week came on Saturday when he won the Winamax High Roller for $5,753/133.86.

Roman ‘romeopro’ Romanovsky cracked the top 10 this week after recording four cashes big enough to impact his score. All told he earned 626.95 PLB points from those four events, highlighted by a win in the partypoker $530 High Roller for $13,375 and 231.30 points.
