The world of online poker is full of #1-ranked players. Here's a sample of who is leading the way in their home country.

It’s yet another summer week without much movement in the PocketFives Worldwide Top 10 as Sweden’s ‘lena900’ continues to ride the wave he had been on for the past two months, retaining the #1 spot.

‘lena900’ did not have a heavy volume week this week, especially for him, but he did manage to book a five-figure score by taking third place in the Super Sunday High Roller on partypoker for $13,050. Even though he wasn’t able to add to his overall PLB score this week, he still maintained a massive lead over his #2-ranked countryman, ‘C Darwin2’.

Like ‘lena900’, ‘C Darwin2’ wasn’t able to increase his overall PLB score this week, falling almost 2000 points behind the #1 spot. He did continue to add to his over $9.7 million in lifetime earnings by cashing for over $27,000 this week. At his formidable pace, he’s very likely to join the elite $10 million lifetime club in the second half of 2018.

Also grinding his way to $10 million lifetime earnings is Ukraine’s #3-ranked Roman ‘Romeopro’ Romanovsky. While ‘Romeopro’ did only secure five total cashes this week,  did manage to pick up 128.33 PLB points through his final table finish in the $2,100 Sunday High Roller on PokerStars.

Russia’s ‘hellohellohello’ maintained the #4 spot once again, and picked up a number of big-time cashes in the process. First up, he won the June 24 edition of the Super Sunday High Roller on bwin.com for $32,625 and 269.26 PLB points. Then later in the wee,k he booked another win in the PokerStars $530 Bounty Builder High Roller for $13,424 and an additional 265.52 PLB points. His nice uptick in points has him sitting less than 100 PLB points behind ‘Romeopro’.

Hungary’s Andres ‘probirs’ Nemeth once again rounds out the top 5. He maintains his spot moreso because it’s the doldrums of summer than through any results as the grinder only managed to register two total cashes for just over $5,000 and zero PLB points.

Ramiro ‘Ramiro’ Petrone checks in at #6, Canada’s ‘GINS FINEST’ takes #7 and ‘Ariados’ from Sweden climbs one spot to #8.

Rejoining the top 10 this week is partypoker ambassador Patrick ‘pleno1’ Leonard. He didn’t spend much time online, but through a reduction of PLB scores from a pair of Brazilians, ‘PaDiLhA SP’ and ‘joaosimaobh’ (who has been spotted in Las Vegas at the World Series of Poker), he fell upwards into the top 10.

Michael ‘mczhang’ Zhang wrapped up the week at #10, a career-high ranking for the Brit, despite not firing up his online client all week.

Other notable moves in the top 25 include a debut from Ukraine’s ‘Palyaaa’, who climbed to the #23 ranking. He achieved the career-high ranking on the back of three PLB qualifying cashes, including an outright win in the PokerStars $530 Bounty Builder for over $13,000 and 264.58 PLB points.

For the first time in over a year, former #1-ranked player and PokerStars WCOOP Champion Steven ‘SvZff’ van Zadelhoff has fallen outside of the top 25.
