After wrestling away the #1 spot in the PocketFives Rankings from Fabrizio ‘SixthSenSe19’ Gonzalez two weeks ago, ‘lena900’ doesn’t appear ready to give it up and now Gonzalez has another Swedish nemesis in his way.

Lena900’ cashed 40 times this past week, but only one of them was good enough to add to his already PLB points total. The Swedish pro finished third in the 888poker Sunday Challenge for $8,528 and 149.93 points. Despite only having one cash count, ‘lena900’ now holds an 892.63 point lead over his closest competition.

While ‘lena900’ only got the one cash, ‘C Darwin2’ managed to move up one spot in the rankings despite not recording a single cash big enough to add to his points total. The former #1-ranked player had eight smaller cashes, but thanks to some of Gonzalez’s older scores dropping off, snuck past the Uruguayan poker pro by just 26.56 points.

Gonzalez had just one cash this past week – a third place finish in the ACR Sunday Special PLO event – but it wasn’t worth enough to impact his score and help him maintain his #2-ranking.

Gonzalez stands out in the rankings for another reason. He’s the lone non-Swede in the top six. Three other Swedish pros take up spots 4-6. Moving from #5 to #4, ‘inhoo’ had three big scores this week which helped him move up to just one spot shy of his career best. Last Wednesday ‘inhoo’ finished fourth in the partypoker Heavyweight Uppercut for $4,382 and 108.91 and then followed that up immediately with a win in the partypoker High Roller for $10,480/223.61. His big score though came on Sunday when he finished second in the PokerStars Sunday Grand PLO for $21,588/244.2.

Rounding out the Swedish contingent is ‘Ariados’ at #5 and Andreas ‘r4ndomr4gs’ Berggren at #6.

Former #1-ranked Nicolas ‘PokerKaiser’ Fierro held on to the #7 ranking after posting three big scores. He took down the PokerStars Big $109 for $9,820/235.58, then finished 12th in the PokerStars Super Tuesday for $4,743/136.59 and then wrapped up the week with a win in the PokerStars $22 Bubble Rush for $2,010/109.54.

Germany’s ‘pappadogg’ moved from #9 to #8 and Andras ‘probirs’ Nemeth moved from #10 to #9. Top-ranked Canadian Joel ‘jbrown8777’ Brown moved back into the top ten after posting four solid cashes. Last Tuesday, Brown finished fourth in the partypoker High Roller for $5,787/110.97 and then 14th in the PokerStars Super Tuesday for $3,952/124.52. The next day he topped the 62-player field in the partypoker Six Max High Roller for $11,056/176.07 and then ended the week with an eighth-place finish in the partypoker Super High Roller for $4,772/110.29.

Former #1-ranked Patrick ‘pleno1’ Leonard dropped from #8 to #11 and was the only player to fall out of the top 10.
