After 18 weeks looking up the PocketFives Rankings and seeing other players ahead of him, Sweden’s ‘lena900’ took over the #1 spot this week, passing two players in the process.

Wins on 888poker and partypoker over the last seven days earned ‘lena900’ just over $51,000 and 624 PocketFives Leaderboard points. He beat out 422 other players on September 30 to win the partypoker Heavyweight: The Uppercut for $8,206.02 and 205.67 points. He followed that up by outlasting 116 other players in the 888poker Whale on October 2 for $43,750 and 418.33 points.

He’s now just 15.4 points ahead of ‘C Darwin2’, who had been #1 for the past 12 weeks. This marks the sixth time in his career that ‘lena900’ has held down the top spot. His first reign as the top-ranked online player in the world began on March 30, 2016 and lasted four weeks.

‘C Darwin2’ took some time off this week, registering just three cashes, none of which were big enough to add to his PLB total. He fell to #2, while Steven ‘SvZff’ van Zedelhoff dropped from #2 to #3, one week after jumping into the #2 spot.

There was some more juggling inside of the top 10 this week, but nobody that was in the top 10 last week dropped out this week. Andreas ‘r4ndomr4gs’ Berggren went from #7 to #6, swapping spots with ‘Sheater’ while Andras ‘probirs’ Nemeth and Laszlo ‘omaha4rollz’ Bujtas swapped the #9 and #10 spots.

Ramiro ‘rayastar’ Petrone and Chris ‘Big Huni’ Hunichen each moved up six spots to #18 and #19 respectively. Jordan ‘JWPRODIGY’ Westmorland moved into the Top 25, ending up at #24, up two spots from last week. Kenny ‘SpaceyFCB’ Hallaert was the only player to fall out of the top 25, ending up at #29 after being #23 last week.
