The United States Online Poker Rankings takes a look at the top online players in the current legalized and regulated markets available in the U.S.
Hohner’s (4,597.95 PLB points) been finding plenty of success online in the last month with 13 four-figure cashes and a pair of five-figure scores since the beginning of May. His spotlight score was a victory in Event #27 of PokerStars New Jersey Spring Championship of Online Poker where he not only added an NJSCOOP title to his resume but also $16,827. He backed that up in the May 29 edition of the WSOP.com Tuesday Showdown, picking up the win and an additional $12,049.
Hohner has accumulated 14 PLB-qualifying cashes since the beginning of May resulting in an impressive 1683.90 PLB bump, good enough to rank him not just #1 in the United States but #182 in the world. Additionally, this month Hohner earned his $1M badge, soaring over the $1,000,000 lifetime earnings mark.
If all that wasn’t enough for the New Jersey grinder, he also made his way to Las Vegas for the World Series of Poker, finishing in 155th place in the largest live tournament of all time, The Big 50, for over $7,000.

Not far behind Hohner is Daniel ‘centrfieldr’ Lupo (4,364.26), currently the #2-ranked player in the U.S. Lupo absolutely crushed the recently completed PokerStars NJSCOOP earning himself five titles including a five-figure score in Event #4-H ($300, NLHE Sunday Special) for $12,263. More recently, Lupo has been grinding the WSOP.com OC series, taking down Event #7 ($50,000 Sunday 6 Max) for $20,336 and 291.09 PLB points.
Holding in the #3 spot is Yong ‘ykwon17’ Kwon (4244.85) who not only has not only been on a non-stop online grind since the beginning on May, right through the first weeks of June but manages to add a World Series of Poker bracelet to his resume. Kwon topped the 1,965 player field to take down WSOP Event #7: $400 WSOP.com Online No Limit Hold’em for a career-high cash of $165,263. Not only did Kwon have to deal with some of the elite online grinders but both Dan ‘MeatJustice’ O’Brien and 15-time WSOP gold bracelet winner Phil ‘lumestackin’ Hellmuth made the final table. In the end, Kwon stood alone claiming the first online bracelet of 2019.
David ‘dehhhhh’ Coleman (4143.13) slipped back to the #4 spot this month however he still had a remarkable run in the month of May. He won back-to-back NJSCOOP titles when he took down Event #39-H ($100 NLHE SuperSonic Hyper-Turbo) for $2,429 and then finished in first the next day in Event #40-H ($100 NLHE Nightly Stars Wrap-Up) for another $4,269. In between those two title runs, he also won the Sunday $35K GTD over on BorgataPoker.com for another $7,455. He has yet to produce an online result in the month of June, however, he did make a deep live run in the 2019 WSOP Millionaire Maker for over $4,500.
Rounding out the top 5 is Matthew ‘MattEMenz’ Mendez (3986.00) who also boosted his ranking with a pair of NJSCOOP title runs. He took down his first NJSCOOP by winning Event #37-L ($50 NLHE Main Event) for $6,761 and 200.00 PLB points. The same day he closed out Event #38-H ($150 Pot Limit Omaha Six Max) for another $3,545.
