As the 2017 PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker draws to a close, the PocketFives Rankings seem to be swinging back to a very familiar site – Sweden. Swedish players now make up six of the top 10 spots, including the top three, with ‘lena900‘ sitting on top for the ninth consecutive week.

While SCOOP controlled most of the headlines this week, partypoker Powerfest was where ‘lena900‘ went to work. He posted three top five finishes in partypoker Powerfest events, finishing third, second and fifth for a total of 485.43 PLB points. He now leads the rest of the field by 378.82 points.

#2-ranked ‘inhoo‘ did nearly everything he could to move into the top spot this week, posting five cashes big enough to add to his PLB score. He finished fifth in SCOOP Event #23 (High) for $37,440 and 300.75 points, 18th in SCOOP Event #31 (High) for $11,388/233.76. He posted an 11th place finish in Powerfest Event #156 for $30,061/271.21. He wrapped up the week with an 888poker XL Inferno Event #110 win for $6,418/172.77 and then an eighth-place finish in Event #126 for $24,300/258.46.

A Powerfest win, plus a PokerStars Hot $215 win and another cash helped ‘Ariados‘ stay at #3. He started the week by taking down the Hot $215 fro $12,321 and 257.68 points. Three days later he beat out 518 other players to win the $530 buy-in Powerfest High Roller for $48,371 and 509.41 points and then finished 18th in Powerfest #158 for $5,353/112.

Two former #1-ranked players make the next two spots. Uruguay’s Fabrizio ‘SixthSenSe19’ Gonzalez, the only non-Swede in the top five, sits at #4 while ‘C Darwin2‘ is #5.

The first bit of movement in the top 10 came from Patrick ‘pleno1’ Leonard. The top-ranked British player won SCOOP Event #20 (Medium) for $18,567 and 320 points. He then followed that up with a fourth-place finish in Event #29 (High) for $59,175/386.64. Leonard then posted three Powerfest scores, including two fourth place and one sixth place finish, for $71,981 in earnings and 721.62 points. Those five results propelled him from #10 to #8.

Johannes ‘Greenstone25’ Korsar rounded out the Swedish contingent in the top 10, moving from #11 to #10 thanks to a 11th-place finish in Powerfest Event #149 for 411,141/211.62 and a 14th-place finish in SCOOP Event #41 (High) for $19,425/233.59.
