This week two of the top ten players in the PocketFives World Wide Rankings have moved up. In addition, there are several players in the top 100 who are rising quickly and now getting the attention they deserve.

I don't think it's possible to go a week without talking about mr. menlo(pictured). Once again his face is on the front page, and quite frankly I'm running out of generically nice things to say about this guy. Thankfully he has another big cash to discuss, so looks like I'm gonna get bailed out this time. Menlo secured a 5-figure score yet again when he took an uncharactericstic 2nd place finish in a PokerStars $109 Rebuy for $26,496. Big scores are like clockwork for this pro, and we are all most certainly in the presence of some serious menlownage. This week, he improved by two spots into 3rd and made cracking the top 3 look easy.

The only other player to move up in the top 10 is Andy McLEOD. This Triple Crown winner garners the respect of all the top players, and last week he beat out many of them to take 3rd place in the pro-filled $215 Rebuy on Stars. This performance made him $23,478 richer and also moved him up into 6th place in the rankings.

This week the top 20 did not have many big movers, and ComeOnPhish(pictured left) stands alone as the only player moving up significantly. This former MPLB winner had an impressive week, taking 1st place and 3rd place on the same day in two separate $109 Rebuy's on Stars. In addition, he also won the $55 6-max on Stars. In just one week, ComeOnPhish earned over $35K in total scores. As a result, he advanced 3 spots and is now 16th.

In the top 50 there is a bit more action. Moving up an impressive 18 spots is t soprano. This big jump is supported by some big scores. Last week he won a $109 Stars Rebuy and placed 3rd in the Stars Wednesday Hundred Fifty Grand. These two 5-figure cashes total for more than $52k, putting t soprano at 28th in the World Wide Rankings.

The next player advancing in the top 50 is stevie444 from the UK. He has been steadily on the rise for the past few weeks and has been able to continue this trend with a score of over $48k in the PokerStars Super Tuesday, in which he finished 2nd. He has been on a heater lately and is now 33rd in the rankings, 8 better than his previous position.

Next on the list is the #1 ranked player in Ohio, Stamdogg(pictured right). He had a sick week, adding three more 5-figure scores to his resume. The first came in a Stars $109 Rebuy that he won for $22,083. The carnage continued as he went on to win the $65k Guaranteed on FullTilt for $24,721. His last big score was in another $109 Rebuy where he took 4th and $13,248. I'd say his #1 status in the Buckeye State is safe for the time being, and in terms of the World Wide Rankings, he improved by 12 and is now 44th.

The last player making waves in the top 50 is Asiandude7. Or, more fittingly, one big wave, as Asiandude7 took 1st in the Stars $215 Rebuy for $55,660. This hefty score facilitated his jump up 13 spots and into the top 50 where he is now 49th.

In the second half of the top 100, some big names are climbing quickly. The first three are kwob20, basebaldy, and shaundeeb (pictured left), who are now 71st, 72nd, and 73rd respectively. Kwob20 climbed twelve spots and had two 1st place scores totaling over $41k. Basebaldy also improved by twelve and won the Stars $22 Rebuy for $8,755. Shaundeeb made his way back into the top 100 with a crazy week, including two wins and two 2nd place finishes. He won the FullTilt $1k Monday for $84,250, and also won the FullTilt $24k Guaranteed. He has drastically improved his position within the rankings and is 28 spots better than last week.

TheHero and dabadestchic also had themselves a nice week to say the least. TheHero won the Super Tuesday on Stars for $81,000. In addition, he had 3 other final tables, tacking on another $23k to his already monstrous score. He is now 77th. Dabadestchic had an equally impressive performance, earning three separate 5-figure scores and two wins. The wins were both in $109 Rebuy's on Stars, coming on back to back days. Dabadestchic is now 83rd and solidly placed within the top 100.

Lastly, familiar face Telefonkiosk finds himself in the top 100 this week, coming in at 94th after cashing for over $30k in the past few days. Also hurtling into the rankings is Hixx, who is now at 99th. He had a big win last week on Bodog in the $100k Guaranteed for $25,000.
