Although he has been in the top 10 before, apestyles (pictured, left) is getting oh so close to the top 5 in the PocketFives.com World Wide Rankings, coming in at #7 this week after jumping two spots. Last week he saw seven cashes, including five final tables and two wins. The current August PLB leader's best scores came on Saturday, when he picked up wins in the $15k Guaranteed tournaments on both Full Tilt and Absolute. Also gaining two spots, mr. menlo is back into the top 10 as well this week at #9. Menlo cashed big last week with a second place finish in the Stars Super Tuesday for over $47k.

In the top 20 this week, we have mattg1983, dabears87, THAY3R, and ComeOnPhish. The P5s Triple Crown winner mattg1983 rests at the 15th ranking this week, thanks to his two wins last week on Full Tilt. Ascending three spots was dabears87, who cashed eight times and had four final tables, which included a 2nd place finish in the Stars $50 rebuy for close to $10k. THAY3R won the Daily Fifty Grand on Stars for over $13k, and he also took down the UltimateBet $13k Guaranteed. ComeOnPhish’s current 4th place position in this month’s PLB race has aided in his rise to the 20th spot in our rankings, up four spots from 24th.

Ch0ppy went up three spots this week to #27 and went all the way in the Stars $100 rebuy for $28k. He added another $22k to his week total when he placed 3rd in their $150k Guaranteed on Sunday. Number1pen (pictured left) cashed 12 times with two wins and six final tables, which gave him a week total of over $35k. His most notable win came in the Full Tilt $55k Guaranteed, where he took $20k. Also taking down a tournament for $20k was AJKHoosier1, who went the distance in the UltimateBet $75k Guaranteed, while cashing $12k more for a 2nd place finish on Absolute in their $70k Weekly. Gotskillz made himself $15k by placing 4th in the Stars Sunday $150k and rose five spots, while Sowers UNCC gained fives spots after making two final tables, including a win in the Full Tilt $22k Guaranteed.

Jordan “scarface_79” Smith and Eric “sheets” Haber accounted for the biggest gains in the top 50, leaping 11 and 12 spots respectively. Smith’s big leap was mainly due to his final table in last week’s Sunday Million for $41k; he also is now ranked 6th in the August PLB. Sheets started his week by winning a Stars $10 rebuy for $12k, and he continued his run the next day, cashing for $23k with his 2nd place in the $100k Pro Bounty on Absolute.

Ship Happens is a recent winner of the coveted P5s Triple Crown and has continued his move up the rankings by another 13 spots this week after winning a Stars $50 rebuy for $12k and cashing 11 other times last week. Another Triple Crown winner, mig.com (pictured right), climbed 18 spots thanks to a big day Thursday, where he cashed five times and picked up two wins. He was last man standing in the Stars $100 rebuy that day, picking up close to $24k. Agriffrod saw three final tables last week, which helped him jump 16 spots.

Randers made the biggest move out of all top 100 P5ers this week, shooting 20 spots up the ladder. He started the week with a bang, taking 2nd place in the Full Tilt 1k Monday for over $50k after coming in 3rd in the Stars $100 rebuy for $12k. Believer82 also started the week off with a big cash on Full Tilt, winning the $55k Guaranteed for close to $18k. Stevie444 shared success on Monday as well by winning the Nightly Hundred Grand on Stars for $32k and taking 2nd in the UltimateBet $25k Guaranteed Bounty.

Four P5s members to come into the top 100 this week were TheMiltMan, High Flush, amak316, and Potroast (pictured left). TheMiltMan sprung into the top 100 and landed at the 85th ranking with a big week of 12 cashes, five final tables, and a win on Sunday in the Absolute $70k Weekly, where he went Heads Up against AJKHoosier1. High Flush had a win of $11k in the Stars $25k Guaranteed, while amak316 took 2nd place in one of their $100 rebuys for $21k. Potroast closes out the top 100, partly due to his win in Absolute’s $150k Weekly from two weeks ago.
