Mike 'Lav519' Lavenburg (left), Yong 'ykwon17' Kwon, and Daniel 'wildman75' Buzgon are all featured in the top-5 of the USA Online Poker Rankings this month.

A lot has changed in the world since last month’s USA Online Poker Rankings report, but one thing has remained the same – Yong ‘ykwon17’ Kwon is still the #1-ranked player in the United States.

Kwon didn’t need to be ordered to stay at home, he was already locked in and on the grind in March. He put in maximum volume which resulted in over 90 cashes for a total of $152,332 for the month.

He picked up three five-figure scores including a third-place finish in the WSOP.com Circuit Super Series Event #11 ($75K NLHE BIG $500) for $21,326, his largest payday of the month. Just days later, on March 27, he took down the WSOP.com $20,000 Weekly Thursday for another $14,085.

In total, Kwon earned seven outright victories and 14 PLB-qualifying scores which have propelled him to become the current #66-ranked player in the world.

Last month’s #4-ranked Jon ‘itsmejon’ Borenstein climbed two spots in the rankings this month sit right behind Kwon. Borenstein also has been dedicated to the grind, racking up 65 total cashes for just over $148,000.

His biggest score of the month came during the PartyPoker US Network $250K GTD tournament on March 30 when he took fourth place for $18,911 and 239.24 PLB points. The New Jersey grinder’s rise in the rankings can be attributed to his 21 PLB-qualifying scores which have also lifted him to a career-high ranking of #83 in the world.

David ‘dehhhhh’ Coleman stepped back one spot into the #3 ranking but he still had a great month on the online felts by posting 69 total cashes for over $82,000.

Of those cashes, 24 were good for four-figures scores including a trio of results that took place on March 29. On that day he finished in third in the WSOP.com $10,000 Daily Turbo Deepstack for $2,153 while at the same time putting in a final table appearance in the $15,000 Weekly Saturday for $1,914. Then that night, on PokerStars NJ, he took down the Sunday High Roller for another $5,640. All told, his March results helped Colman to over $2.7 million in total career online cashes.

Last month, Daniel ‘wildman75’ Buzgon wasn’t even in the top 10. This month he jumps all the way up to the #4 spot after taking down a WSOP.com Online Circuit Event.

Buzgon picked up this fourth career WSOP Circuit ring when he won the WSOP Circuit Event #9 on March 5 for $27,234 and 326.80 PLB points. That wasn’t Buzgon’s only five-figure score in the month as he scored a victory in the March 18 edition of the WSOP.com $30,000 GTD which blasted past its guarantee for a prize pool north of $96,000. Buzgon earned nearly the same amount as the initial guarantee, walking away with $26,936 on the day.

In his exception month, Buzgon picked up 61 cashes good for over $144K. His 18 PLB-qualifiing cashes have also helped him crack the worldwide top-100, where he currently sits ranked at #96.

Mike ‘Lav519’ Lavenburg also returns to the top-10 this month, currently sitting at #5.

In addition to accumulating 17-PLB qualifying scores, Lavenburg posted some solid scores to help him soar in the rankings. He booked a runner-up finish in the March 9 edition of the $25,000 NLH High Roller on WSOP.com for $12,396. He followed that up days later with a victory in the $25,000 GTD Saturday Special on March 15 for another $18,500.

However, he picked up the bulk of his $131,000 in earnings on March 30 by taking down the WSOP.com $100,000 GTD Sunday Special, which more than doubled its guarantee, for a $30,769 first-place payday.

Lavenburg is currently sitting at an all-time high ranking of #102 in the world with just over $1.8 million in total career earnings.
