Report: Full Tilt Remission to Exclude Pros, Employees, Vendors

While many poker players in the U.S. were glued to ESPN for a Monday Night Football doubleheader, an e-mail allegedly sent from the Garden City Group circulated the internet. The Group, as you might know, is the appointed Claims Administrator for U.S. Full Tilt Pokerfunds and will start the process next Monday, September 16.

Rich TheEngineer Muny posted on Facebook, “I received this from someone who received this from Garden City Group. I phoned GCG and they neither confirmed nor denied it.” The e-mail in question listed off seven groups of people who will reportedly be excluded from the Full Tilt remission process. PocketFives was unable to confirm the e-mail, as it was after business hours.

The list started with any “past or present employee of FTP or any of its past or present affiliates” and also included any “past or present vendor of FTP that received compensation through FTP players’ accounts.” The former group could span a breadth of talent within the online gaming industry, while the list of vendors could include online poker affiliates and related marketing companies.

Past or present Team Full Tilt players” will also be removed from the remission process, according to the e-mail. The group includes the likes of Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, Mike Matusow, and Jennifer Harman. Whether Full Tilt Poker’s stable of so-called Red Pros will be affected remains to be seen.

The circulating e-mail also singles out anyone who was “a past or present shareholder of FTP, Tiltware LLC, Kolyma Corporation A.V.V., Pocket Kings Ltd., Pocket Kings Consulting Ltd., Filco Ltd., Vantage Ltd., Ranston Ltd., Mail Media Ltd., or Full Tilt Poker Ltd.” Directors and officers of these companies are also ineligible to receive funds if the e-mail turns out to be accurate. That group would likely include the likes of Ray Bitar, Howard Lederer, and Chris Ferguson. Bitar and Lederer are pictured with U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

Finally, two legal references appeared, potentially eliminating the following groups from the Full Tilt remission process:

“vi. A defendant in any civil action or a claimant in any forfeiture action brought by the Department of Justice related to the violations alleged in this action, or any related action (or any of his or her affiliates, assigns, heirs, distributees, spouses, parents, children, or controlled entities).”

“vii. A person who, as of the Petition filing deadline, has been thesubject of criminal charges related to the violations alleged in this action, or any related action (or any of his or her affiliates, assigns, heirs, distributees, spouses, parents, children, or controlled entities).”

Greg Raymer isn’t a pedaphile…his hooker wasn’t underage. But, the first part is true enough.

    • Should I be concerned that the $875 I had in there now shows $0. I logged in to see if the remission process had begun and noticed it shows $0.00 for my balance.

    • WHAT A SHOCKER!!! They are not going to allow the people that profited from the ponzi scheme to be refunded their ill gotten gains… I know .. I know you were all just ignorant and clueless…
