Of the six PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker final tables in play on Saturday, nobody made more of them than Andrey ‘Gigaloff’ Zhigalov. The Russian made the final table of both High events, taking runner-up in one and winning the other for the first SCOOP title of his career.

Matthias ‘Mati312’ Brandner finished one spot ahead of Zhigalov to win Event #21 High ($1,050 Badugi) for $22,900. The pair actually made a deal heads-up, so Zhigalov walked away with $21,000 for finishing second.

The Medium buy-in event went to ‘timohasan’ for $8,845.20 while ‘Senkel92’ topped the 2,322-player field in the Low buy-in version to win $3,948.86.

Zhigalov finished off his strong day by beating out 182 other players to win Event #22 High ($1,050 Limit Omaha Eight or Better) to win $39,802.50. The final table included some of the best mixed game players in the world including Richard ‘CHUFTY’ Ashby, Adam ‘Adamyid’ Owen and Alex ‘dynoalot’ Difelice. ‘SkyScraper93’ finished runner-up for $21,960.

‘nemets’ took down the Medium LO8 event for $14,800 while ‘kazaryan1989’ won the Low event for $5,143.46 after chopping heads-up with Sn4pC4ll.

Event #26, the High Roller Heads Up event, began on Saturday. In the $25,000 High version just four players remain in contention for the $180,000 first place prize: ‘alimounda’, Ben ‘Sauce123’ Sulsky, Ben ‘Ben86’ Tollerene and ‘donthnrmepls’. Action resumes on Sunday afternoon.
