Wednesday’s PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker included a well-respected online grinder winning his first SCOOP title, a star-studded Seven Card Stud final table and Austria’s ‘caaaaamel‘ chopping his way to the single biggest cash prize of the day.

Canada’s Jonas ‘donut604’ Mackoff beat out 244 other players to win Event #36 High ($1,050 Pot Limit Omaha Eight or Better) for the first SCOOP title of his career. Mackoff chopped heads-up with ‘Fred_Brink‘ and walked away with $45,437.50. The final table also included Bernardo ‘bedias’ Dias, Ryan ‘PROTENTIALnm’ Laplante, Sebastian ‘p0cket00’ Sikorski and Ari ‘BodogAri’ Engel.

The Medium buy-in of the event was chopped three ways with ‘Neo_gracz‘ getting the smallest payout at $13,933.09 but the eventual title. ‘WeakyLeeks‘ and ‘Rabscuttle‘ took home $14,943,78 and $14,418.13 respectively. The low version saw no deal made at the final table with ‘theone93’ earning $6,019.19 for the outright win.

The $2,100 Super Tuesday Special Edition (Event #37 High) drew 771 players with ‘caaaaamel‘ earning $216,875.01 for the victory after making a deal with four players remaining. ‘Go0se.core!’ ended up second for $175,000, ‘Kot_Spartac’ finished third for $175,000 while ‘etxnl01‘ took $203,207.20 for his seventh eight cash of SCOOP 2017.

Brazil’s Fernando ‘fviana’ Viana da Costa won the Medium version of the event for $72,643.57 after a three-way deal. Austria’s ‘blank seat‘ won the $27 buy-in Low version for $31,984.07.

The most star-studded final table came in Event #38 High ($1,050 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo) where Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom, Calvin ‘cal42688’ Anderson, Brian ‘tsarrast’ Rast and Joao ‘joaoMathias Mathias Baumgarten couldn’t outlast Benjamin ‘lulDocuments’ Lukas. The win was worth $43,942.50 for Lukas. The fourth place finish for Anderson was his 22nd of SCOOP 2017 – nine behind the overall leader, ‘krakukra’.

‘ZISIMO7‘ and ‘BurnsFlipper‘ earned $14,652 and $4,588.68 respectively for their wins in the Medium and Low buy-in Stud events.
