It wasn’t too long ago that Pauli Ayras became the first player to win two Poker Masters Online events. With Thursday’s play, Pascal Lefrancois become the second by winning the Event #23 title.

Ali Imsirovic has had several deep runs in the Poker Masters Online at partypoker but he had yet to grab a victory. That all changed on Thursday, when Imsirovic picked up a victory in Event #24.

Also having himself a solid day was Andras Nemeth, who cashed in both events that took place, including finishing second to Lefrancois.

Lefrancois Wins Event #23 for $527,509

Lefrancois won Event #9 for $243,988. Now, he can call himself a two-time Poker Masters Online event winner after his victory in Event #23: $1M Gtd [PLO, 6-Max]. In this latest win, Lefrancois topped a field of 61 entries in the $25,500 buy-in tournment, beating Nemeth in heads-up play and winning $527,509.70.

The top nine spots made the money, with Andreas Torbergsen rounding out the podium in third.

Imsirovic Wins Event #24 for $277,096

Imsirovic is no stranger to Poker Masters success, having won two tournaments and the overall championship title in the live edition of the series in 2018. Now, he can add a Poker Masters Online title to his trophy case. Imsirovic won the $10,300 buy-in Event #24:$500K [NLH, 6-Max] for $277,096.60.

The event drew a field of 110 entries, with the top 18 making the money. One of those to cash was Nemeth, who followed up his second-place finish in Event #23 with a 13th-place finish in this tournament. Nemeth now has eight cashes on the series and is very much challenging to win the overall Championship Leaderboard.
