Three events were held as part of the 19th Full Tilt Online Poker Series, or FTOPS, on Wednesday. In the very first tournament of the day, a $535 No Limit Hold’em 3X Shootout (Event #31), Chris SLOPPYKLOD Klodnicki (pictured) was fitted for the ceremonial jersey and collected $76,000. He bested a field of 729 players and the tournament’s top 81 finishers grew their bankrolls. Let’s check out some of the action from Wednesday’s FTOPS contests.

Klodnicki has had a considerable amount of success over the years both live and online. He’s fresh off an August win in the PokerStars Sunday 500 for nearly $100,000 and a January final table in the Full Tilt Turbo $100,000 Guarantee for $32,000. He finished second in December’s World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit Regional Championship in Atlantic City for $221,000 and took 12th in the 2008 WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas for nearly $600,000.

Yesterday, Klodnicki outlasted Full Tilt Poker member theshepard07 for the jersey. The $535 No Limit Hold’em 3X Shootout had a final table that cashed out accordingly:

1. MrDoggy – $76,545 (SLOPPYKLOD)
2. theshepard07 – $51,030
3. Pwnasaurus – $36,450 (Deuce2High)
4. ScarJo – $27,338 (jus2awsum)
5. iseeyouthrough – $20,048 (iseeyouthrough)
6. knickadam55 – $14,580 (knickadam55)
7. evenkeal777 – $10,206 (darkcheck_)
8. LilPokerGirlie – $6,926 (LilPokerGirlie)
9. sharky-bru – $4,921

In Event #33, a $322 No Limit Hold’em Six-Max Rebuy, the Ukraine’s VanUAchopped heads-up and walked away with the day’s largest score at $188,000. VanUA actually received more money than the first place finisher, shortsharpshock, who pocketed $183,000. There were 947 entrants, creating a prize pool of just over $1 million, and the top 102 spots paid out.

VanUA is the fourth ranked player in his home country according to the PocketFives.com Sortable Rankings and final tabled the Sunday Brawl last October for $40,000. We’d expect him to climb even further up the Ukrainian leaderboard when the standings are recalculated.

Also finding the final table of Event #33 was Australia’s Hai Bo haibomi Chu, who cashed for $105,000 after a third place exit. Chu has been on a roll during FTOPS XIX, as he also final tabled Event #22 ($129 No Limit Hold’em Knockout Multi-Entry) for $57,000. Accordingly, he’s logged his two largest online poker scores in the last week.

Canada’s Pudge714 finished fourth in the $322 No Limit Hold’em Six-Max Rebuy for $80,000. He already has a pair of six-figure scores to his name along with a PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) title:
