Four players remain in Event #12 of the 2012 World Series of Poker (WSOP), a $10,000 Heads-Up No Limit Hold’em tournament. First place in this puppy is set to earn $371,000 and all four survivors are guaranteed to make $130,000. CardRunners instructor Brian Stinger885Hastings (pictured) and two-time bracelet winner Brock t soprano Parker are still in the mix and could meet in the finals if they both win their semifinals match.

Hastings barreled through bracelet winner Tommy Vedes, Amritraj Singh, and two-time WSOP final tablist Jeffrey Gross on his way to the semis. Now, he has a date with Tommy Chen. Hastings’ quarterfinals match against Gross ended with the money going in on a board showing 5-K-6-8-J with four spades. Hastings called all-in and held the nut flush to double up and put a stranglehold on the match.

Then, Gross shoved all-in with J-10, but ran into Hastings’ pocket queens. The better hand held and Hastings punched his ticket into the round of four. Hastings, whose run-in with PokerStarspro Victor Isildur1Blom in 2009 resulted in his Full Tilt Red Pro status being temporarily suspended, won a WSOP $2,000 No Limit Hold’em Regional Event in Hollywood, Florida for $213,000 last August.

By the way, Chen had a stout road to the semifinals in Event #12, as his competition thus far has included Eric EFro Froelich, Antonio Esfandiari, and Chris Moore. The trio has a combined three WSOP bracelets and over $3 million in WSOP earnings.

Parker (pictured) is in search of his third WSOP bracelet after ousting Michael Drummond in the round of eight. The final hand came down to pocket nines for Parker against A-6 for Drummond. The flop came 5-6-9, improving each player’s holding and keeping Parker out in front, and a running 10-Q ended matters.

On his road to the semis, Parker defeated WSOP bracelet winner Mark AceSpades Radoja, Douglas Polk, and Drummond. He has over $1.2 million in career WSOP earnings and won back-to-back six-handed bracelets in 2009. Parker Tweeted about his speedy match against Drummond: “Phone died. Ran hot as the sun and won in 30 minutes. Final 4 at 1pm tomorrow. Some sort of stream dealie on WSOP.com I think.”

The semis will pit Parker against Jason Mo, whose match in the Elite Eight was against Andrew good2cu Robl. Mo finished second in the WSOP Circuit Championship in St. Louis two years ago for $122,000.

In other WSOP news, Russia’s Leonid Bilokur leads the final 24 players in Event #13, $1,500 Limit Hold’em. Poker pro Huck Seed was the Bubble Boy in the tournament, which drew 730 players. Humberto Brenes, former November Niner Eric Buchman, and John $JMONEY$ Racener were all busted from the event late on Wednesday.

Speaking of Racener, Alex ArgentinaBoy Queen (pictured) served as his executioner from Event #13. He made trip tens on the river and Racener, who was all-in on a ten-high flop, mucked his hand. Queen then sent another player to the rail after drawing out on A-K with K-9 by flopping middle pair, but the American sputtered in the final minutes and bagged up just 66,000 in chips, good for 20th in the field.

Here’s how the final two-dozen look, complete with their chip counts. When play paused on Wednesday night, the blinds were at 2,500-5,000:
