On a Sunday that saw the long-awaited $20m guaranteed partypoker MILLIONS Online tournament get underway, Alex ‘bigfox86’ Foxen, Andras ‘probirs’ Nemeth and Jonathan ‘proudflop’ Proudfoot were among the day’s big winners, with world ranked #1 ‘Lena900‘ making a PokerStars Sunday Million final table appearance.

It was to be ‘tikidiii‘ who held off the challenge from ‘Lena900‘ and come through a heads-up battle with ‘4_VaNyA_4‘ to be crowned PokerStars Sunday Million champion, banking a staggering $163,574 in the process. The Sunday Million crossed the 6,000 entrants mark for the first time in a while as 6,058 buy-ins created a $1,211,600 prize pool.

Diego Ventura‘ made his third Sunday Million final table appearance having previously finished in 7th and 3rd place, but this time around he was the first player to depart, taking away $9,621 in ninth place. The field was then whittled down to the final three with #1 ranked ‘Lena900‘ looking for his first Sunday Million title. The Swede achieved a fourth-place finish in the SM back in 2014, but could only go one better this time, after he fell in third for $80,555. ‘tikidiii’ was then crowned the winner, over 14 hours since the tournament started, as ‘4_VaNyA_4’ hit the rail with the silver medal for $114,788.

Foxen outlasted 165 other players to win the PokerStars $1,050 High Roller Club Sunday Supersonic $43,058 – the second biggest online score of his career. The final table included Ramiro ‘ramastar88’ Petrone, former #1-ranked ‘eisenhower1‘, Adrijan ‘Adrijan_S’ Sinishtaj and eventual runner-up Felix ‘th’Kick’ Bleiker.

pokerluka‘ went the distance in the PokerStars $2,100 Sunday High Roller after a heads-up deal was agreed with ‘bartek901‘. 120 entrants created a $264,000 prize pool, and when the final table came together, it featured ‘Lrslzk,’ Mustapha ‘lasagnaaammm’ Kanit and PokerStars Team Pro Igor Kurganov.

Kurganov was the last of those to names to fall after he exited in fourth place for $25,654.78, and after ‘T 54 T 97s‘ departed in third place for $33,162.88, the final two agreed to chop the remaining prize pool. ‘pokerluka’ then got the better of ‘bartek901’ heads-up and was left as the winner with $49,371.54.

Hungary’s #1 ranked player Andras ‘probirs’ Nemeth came through a 1,152 player field in the PokerStars $530 Bounty Builder High Roller PKO to further enhance his reputation as one of the best online players in the world. Kelvin ‘Kelvin_FP:AR’ Kerber took the bronze medal for $25,177.99 + $6,249.88 in bounties before Nemeth faced a final battle against former WCOOP and SCOOP winner ‘compris.’ But Nemeth, who himself has three major SCOOP titles to his name, was able to dispose of his opponent, who walked away with $34,349.38 + $3,347.66, to claim the first-place prize of $46,862 + $42,808.

Sweden’s ‘eijseijs‘ took down this week’s PokerStars $215 Sunday Warm-Up title for $36,132.68 after a heads-up battle with ‘fahim69‘. The prize pool was set at $228,600 after 1,143 players all took their shot at the top prize. PocketFivers’ ‘barnaby10921‘ (9th), ‘Emilohlsson‘ (5th) and ‘Tr!pleeeee‘(4th), all featured on the final table before ‘1_DON7_TH1NK‘ exited in third place for $18,679.13. ‘eijseijs‘ ultimately sent ‘fahim69’ to the rail in second place for $25,979, and picked up the win to add an already impressive $4.8 in online earnings.

Jonathan ‘proudflop’ Proudfoot turned $215 into $29,631 after he won the partypoker $215 Sunday Main Event. The event attracted 830 entrants and generated a $166,000 prize pool. Brazil’s ‘phbbc‘ made a deep run but had to settle for $14,159 in third place before Proudfoot defeated ‘hearthcrap‘ heads-up for the win, with the latter taking away $21,082 as runner-up.

hawkeyejunior‘ banked $71,662 after they were victorious in the partypoker $2,600 Super Sunday High Roller. The tournament came with a $200,000 guarantee, but that number was eclipsed as the 117 entrants made for a $292,500 prize pool. World ranked #1 ‘Drulitooo‘ managed seventh place for $11,700 before former world #1 and current partypoker ambassador Joao Simao achieved a third-place finish for $36,562. ‘JgsNV‘ was then the final player to depart and added $51,187 to their bankroll, after ‘hawkeyejunior’ held off their final challenge.

888poker gave their players the chance to play their biggest Sunday tournaments for half the price this week, with Argentina’s #1 ranked player Ramiro ‘lasochobi’ Petrone taking full advantage. Petrone saw off the 130 player field in the $530 Sunday Sale $50,000 Whale after he defeated ‘SalsaFiesta‘ heads-up to win the $16,250 first-place prize.

And in the $109 Sunday Sale Mega Deep,’23NoraB‘ was the last of 1,453 players standing to bank a cool $26,488, following a heads-up battle with Lithuania’s ‘PiktasVilkas,’ who collected $18,889 as runner-up.
