Less than a year ago, 'BalticMoose' finished second in the Sunday Million. This week he topped that result.

BalticMoose‘ took down the PokerStars $109 Sunday Million for $104,126, just 14 months after falling at the final hurdle. Back in January 2018, the Lithuanian player achieved second place in the original format Sunday Million, but this time around the glory was secured. ‘vcezar‘ finished third in the 10,469 field for $56,518, and with two players remaining a money-deal was agreed. The UK’s Charlie ‘JIZJOINT’ Combes was the final player to hit the virtual rail but banked $83,813 for his efforts as ‘BalticMoose’ got his elusive gold medal.

The PokerStars $215 Sunday Warm-Up plaudits went to ‘Matze 90451‘ after coming through an 809 player field. UK pro Tom ‘Jabracada’ Hall navigated his way to the final table and ultimately took away $4,342 in seventh place. ‘Ambri 81‘ exited in third place for $15,658, which left ‘Matze 90451’ and former Sunday Million runner-up ‘jpous‘ to agree to a deal. Switzerland’s ‘jpous’ was then once again unable to take the top spot and departed as runner-up for $24,301, as ‘Matze 90451’ banked $27,007.

anteen‘ got the better of ‘Negriin‘ heads-up to win the PokerStars $2,100 Sunday High Roller. Canada’s Kristen ‘krissb24’ Bicknell just missed on a top three finish after she exited in fourth place for $23,384. ‘Bit2Easy’ took the bronze medal for $30,447, and ‘Negriin’ fell in second for $39,643, and left ‘anteen’ to pick up the $51,617 first-place prize.

Thomas ‘chaAat’ Boivin lost out to former Powerfest champion ‘nipa3p3‘ heads-up in the partypoker $2,100 Sunday HR Gladiator. The prize pool was set at $252,150 after 123 entrants took part, and it was to be Austria’s ‘onehundredeyes‘ who took third place $16,532 + $9,876 in bounties. Boivin then succumbed to the pressure from his opponent and banked $23,132 + $5,709 as runner-up, with ‘nipa3p3’ scoring $23,157 plus a massive $38,160 in bounty prizes.

CardiffPhil‘ won the partypoker $1,050 Sunday High Roller Deepstack for $41,391 from a 203 player-field. partypoker pro Roberto ‘WelshWizard’ Romanello took fifth place for $11,165, before ‘justkot‘ exited in fourth for $15,834. ‘aLiNeNok1617‘ took away $21,416.50 in third before ‘CardiffPhil’ eliminated ‘BigPescado69‘ in second place for $30,044.

Roman ‘romeopro33’ Romanovsky took the bronze medal in the 888poker $50,000 Whale for $8,850. The PocketFives.com world ranked #2 has won ‘The Whale’ on four previous occasions but was unable to make it a fifth this week. ‘REALTTWIST‘ who came ninth in the ‘Mega Deep’ make their second final table appearance of the day to bank $14,750 as runner-up, with ‘tmurdah‘ adding the $21,830 first-place prize to their bankroll.

Espen ‘DubaiPrince4’ Jorstad came close to back-to-back wins in the 888poker $100,000 Sunday Mega Deep. The Norweigan pro took down the special half-price event last week to win over $24,000 and with a title defense on his mind, he Twitch streamed his deep run, ultimately falling in sixth place for $4,488. ‘DeuceofDuc0‘ defeated ‘Barkley83‘ heads-up to win the $19,737 first-place prize, with the latter banking $14,790 as runner-up.
