Some of online poker’s best and brightest found themselves front and center at the final table of a number of Sunday Majors this week, none bigger than former #1-ranked ‘C Darwin2’.

The Swedish grinder outlasted 1,859 other players to win the pokerStars Sunday Warm-Up for $56,056.34. Another former #1, Nicolas ‘PKaiser’ Fierro, finished runner-up in that event for $40,303.96. That cash puts Fierro roughly $13,000 short of hitting the $10 million lifetime earnings mark.

JC ‘PrtyPsux’ Alvarado won the PokerStars Sunday Grand No Limit Hold’em edition. He beat out a final table that included Ami ‘UhhMee’ Barer, Artem ‘veeea’ Vezhenkov,Joao Mathias ‘joaomathias’ Baumgarten, Adrijan ‘adrijan_s’ Sinishtaj and eventual runner-up ‘DeosOner‘ to win $58,130.97.

That final table was one of three that Australia’s ‘DeoSOner’ made on Sunday. On top of the runner-up finish in the NLHE Sunday Grand, he finished ninth in the partypoker High Roller for $5,350 and then went on to win the partypoker Heavyweight: The Title Fight for $42,731.66 after chopping with ‘Mr_p_ness’.

Barer also found himself at multiple final tables. Along with his eighth place finish in the Sunday Grand NLHE, he posted a fifth place finish in the PLO version of the same event. Barer won a combined $18,312.37.

Baumgarten, a former #1-ranked player, also had two close calls on Sunday. He finished third in the Sunday Grand NLHE for $32,538.96 and then runner-up in the partypoker Super High Roller for $33,762.50. That event was ultimately won by ‘aLiNeNok1617’ for $49,787.11.

The PokerStars Sunday Million had 5,340 players with the final two, ‘bargeeld’ and ‘jm1306’ agreeing to deal that paid each of them just over six figures.
