One win and one near-miss made for a big day for 'ChimneyBarrel' on partypoker.

The second sunday of parytpoker’s Powerfest was a great one for ‘ChimneyBarrel‘. After finishing third in the Event #39 (Phased High Roller) for almost $44,000, he beat out 99 other players to win Event #38 (Super High Roller) for $122,500.

‘ChimneyBarrel‘ beat ‘SunTzu‘ heads-up to win the $5,200 buy-in Powerfest Super High Roller. ‘SunTzu’ banked $87,500 for finishing second while ‘PayAndPlay‘ rounded out the podium finishers for $62,500.

Around the same time as he was winning that event, ‘ChimneyBarrel’ finished third in the $2,100 buy-in partypoker Powerfest Event #39 High Roller for $22,741.01 plus $20,634.96 in bounties. The winner, ‘CocaineKiller‘, took home $31,921.92 plus $54,021.71 in bounties for beating the 198-player field. Sandwiched between them was ‘Benetnasch’ who won $31,882.28 and $8,711.72 in bounties.

The PokerStars Sunday Million came down to a three-way deal with Britain’s ‘losero88‘ taking down the biggest share. Sweden’s ‘DanielLUCKY‘ finished third, earning $91,486.20 as a result of the deal. Runner-up ‘nlfreddie‘ settled for $77,385.40 while ‘losero88’ ended up with the biggest share of $95,598.96.

The #4-ranked player in the world, ‘C Darwin2’, finished 21st for $3,451.72.
