Germany’s ‘strongwill81‘ came through a 12,371 player-field to turn $109 into $124,602 in the PokerStars Sunday Million. Once again the revamped buy-in meant for five-figure total entrants and resulted in the six-figure first-place prize. ‘Biffinio‘ took the bronze medal for $65,614.91 before ‘AlexS1‘ battled it out with the eventual champion.

‘strongwill81’ in name and nature ultimately came through the final test and banked $124,602 as champion, with ‘AlexS1’ having to settle for $90,415 as runner-up.

Dominik ‘Bounatirou Nitsche added $53,481 to his bankroll after he won the PokerStars $2,100 Sunday High Roller for $53,481.The prize pool was worth $244,000 after 122 entrants took part and when the field was reduced to the final three ‘Secret_M0d3‘ collected the bronze medal worth $31,679. ‘huang33‘ was unable to get the better of Nitsche heads-up and banked $41,161 as runner-up, with the German Pro collecting $53,481 for his win.

Sweden’s ‘vic_xcite‘ won the PokerStars $530 Bounty Builder High Roller for over $79,000 following a heads-up victory over the UK’s Jonathan ‘Gil3000’ Gill. 1,060 entrants created a total $530,000 prize pool with ‘abarone68‘ collecting $23,167  + $8,456 in bounties for third place. Gill, who finished in 10th place in the Sunday Million last week, banked over $47,000 for his silver medal run.

This week’s PokerStars $215 Sunday Warm-Up title went to ‘D.Nowitzki‘ following a heads-up match against Dan ‘NukeTheFish!’ Wilson. There was $34,269 up top after 1,056 entrants created a $211,200 prize pool. High-stakes player Roman ‘RomeOpro’ Romanovsky was able to achieve an 8th place finish for $3,404 and after the battles continued it was ‘papan9_p$’ who picked up a spot on the podium in third place for $17,715. Wilson, who has over $3.6m in online earnings, was then the final player to hit the rail and banked $24,639 in second place, with ‘D.Nowitzki’ taking home $34,269 and the title.

madgenius87‘ beat out a total field of 191 entrants to claim victory in the partypoker $1,050 Sunday High Roller. There was a top prize of $44,260 up for grabs and after ‘honestman36‘ departed in third place for $23,200, ‘onehundredeyes‘ was unable to get the better of ‘madgenius87’ and was eliminated in second place for $31,800, with the latter claiming the win.

It was just another Sunday for partypoker ambassador Anatoly ‘NL_Profit’ Filatov who was once again able to find himself on a high stakes final table. This time around the Russian secured second place in the partypoker $3,150 Super Sunday High Roller for $46,800 after Conor ‘ADRIEN_BRODY’ Beresford had fallen in third place for $32,400, and ‘SchelampigaUhu‘ had come through the 80 player field to bink the $68,400 top prize.
