A couple of former #1-ranked players picked up Sunday Majors titles this week.

The online poker world had a lot going on on Sunday. The PokerStars Sunday Million 13th Anniversary and the final day of both partypoker POWERFEST and 888poker XL Blizzard, but those didn’t distract some of online poker’s top-ranked players from putting up big results in some of the other Sunday Majors.

2018 PocketFives POY ‘Lena900‘ came through a 150 player-field to win the PokerStars $2,100 Sunday High Roller Cooldown for over $56,000. ‘vic_xcite‘ took third place for $18,997.89 + $3,000 in bounties, before ‘Kraskata85‘ was the final player to lose their bounty and departed with $24,457 + $16,031 as runner-up.

‘Belabacsi‘ won the PokerStars $215 Sunday Warm-Up for $42,025. PockerFiver Rhys ‘floppinhel’ Jones took fourth place for $16,060, before ‘PAAdentr00!!‘ exited in third place $22,131 and paved the way for heads-up to begin. ‘TheZQ’ then fell at the final hurdle and banked $30,496, as ‘Belabacsi’ took the title.

The PokerStars $530 Bounty Builder High Roller had a bumper $811,500 prize pool this week after 1,623 entrants took part. ‘pitaoufmg‘ was the last player standing for $61,606 + $44,220 in bounties after they sent ‘Remi Lebo_10‘ to the rail in second place for $44,707 + $14,039, with ‘marcelomig‘ banking $32,444 + $6,604 in third.

‘A23456789‘ defeated partypoker ambassador Patrick Leonard to win the partypoker $1,050 Sunday High Roller Terminator for just over $45,000. Alex ‘FkTheseGuysBro’ Foxen departed in fifth place for $6,167 + $3,055 in bounties, and was shortly followed out the door by girlfriend and partypoker ambassador Kristen ‘krissyb24’ Bicknell in fourth place for $8,746 + $7,247. ‘FranBenitez91‘ took away $11,829 + $4,761 in third place, before Leonard lost the final bounty battle and exited as runner-up for $16,585 + $6,378.

This week’s PokerStars $2,100 Sunday High Roller title went to the UK’s Ben ‘jenbizzle’ Jones after he got the better of Steve ‘MrTimCaum’ O’Dwyer heads-up. The tournament saw 159 entrants create a $318,000 prize pool and the final table featured well-known names such as ‘LLinusLove’, Kristen ‘krissyb24’ Bicknell and Connor ‘blanconegro’ Drinan. The bronze medal went to former PocketFives #1-ranked Patrick ‘pads1161’ Leonard for $38,004, and when the heads-up battle was over, O’Dwyer had to settle for $49,360 as runner-up with Jones taking the win alongside $64,110.

Roman ‘SanityWaterline’ Romanovsky took the lion’s share of the GGPoker Blade Series #007 $10k $329,800 prize pool but it was ‘pihler13‘ who took the title. Five places were paid with ‘FNC_Broxah‘ taking fifth for $20,730, and ‘RuiNF*‘ banking $32,934 in fourth before world #1-ranked Andras ‘PokerBluff1’ Nemeth took the bronze medal worth $52,322. Ukraine’s Romanovsky, who was knocked off the online poker rankings top-spot by Nemeth this week, then secured a heads-up deal worth a staggering $131,692, before departing in second place, as ‘pihler13’ took the win for $92,120.
