For those grinders that clear their schedules on Sunday to take part in online poker’s biggest day of the week, there was, once again, plenty of extra value to be had.

Perhaps the highest value tournament of the day was partypoker’s $215 partypoker MILLION. The tournament, which runs Day 1’s all week long, ended up with a total of 4,515 entries, 736 of which returned on Sunday to play out Day 2. There were more runners this week than last, but partypoker was still on the hook for $97,000 worth of overlay to reach its $1 million guarantee. The biggest beneficiary of that massive overlay was ‘Malamanera’ who took home the $136,115 first-place prize. Brazilian grinder ‘KING OF NOIAS’ finished as the runner-up, adding $124,284 to his bankroll, good enough to propel him to over $1.5 million in lifetime earnings. ‘AGALMA’ just missed out on six-figure score, falling in third place for a healthy $68,700 payday.

Although he didn’t take home the most money on Sunday, partypoker player ‘Zeds_dead_baby’ turned in the performance of the weekend by taking down two major tournaments on the partypoker schedule and earning over $78,000.

First, in the partypoker $530 High Roller Bounty Hunter $250K GTD ‘Zeds_dead_baby’  defeated the field of 464 runners and took home $18,936.80 for the win plus another $21,696.48 in bounties. He was joined on the podium by runner-up ‘Player_1234’ who won $18,911.11 + $8,497.48 in bounties and ‘Whatisinit’ who finished in third for $12,973.18 + $1,985.16 in bounties.

Then ‘Zeds_dead_baby’ did it again in the partypoker $320 Gladiator $300K GTD. He outlasted the 962 player field, earning another $20,177.67 plus $17,685.31 in bounties for his second win of the day. He defeated ‘malariver’ who finished in second for $20,147.50 + $1,442.98 in bounties. ‘luckymelon’ took home the bronze in this one for $14,920.10 + $7,032.57 in bounties. There was a small overlay in both of these events.

There was certainly no overlay in the PokerStars $109 Sunday Million which bounced back this weekend with 11,202 entries generating a $1,120,200 prize pool. The winner was China’s ‘139999’ who took home the better end of a heads-up deal walking away with $107,862.56 for the win. Brazil’s ‘ramonkrop’ took home the biggest score of his career, banking $88,754.96 as the official runner-up. ‘ramonkrop’ is currently ranked #76 in the world, and will likely see a big jump next week due to the result.

Finland’s ‘zerodeda’ booked a win in the PokerStars $530 Bounty Builder High Roller $500K GTD, earning $43,282,51 plus $36,484.25 in bounties for a total score of over $79,000. ‘MrLeeQ’ finished as the runner-up, earning $31,725.47 + $6,886.71 for their efforts. Also appearing in the top three was former #1-ranked PocketFiver and current #3 on the All-Time Online Money List, Sweden’s ‘Lena900’ who finished in third place adding $23,254.67 + $4,333.98 to his already massive $16.39 million in lifetime scores.

Another one of the best value contests on the Sunday schedule, 888poker’s $215 Mega Deep with its $100,000 guaranteed, once again, had an overlay. This week there was roughly $15,000 of extra cash in the prize pool which Austrian grinder ‘alwayswin111’ took full advantage of. It did take them three bullets to get there, but eventually ‘alwayswin111’ took home the $19,350 first-place prize by defeating ‘THEPWNER’ heads-up, who settled for $14,500 as the runner-up. They were joined on the podium by ‘xFink_Ploydx’ who finished in third place for $11,000
