'caddyjust66' won the PokerStars Sunday Million while 'old time gin' won the Super High Roller.

The 2018 World Series of Poker got underway this week as players from all around the world flocked to Las Vegas to do battle in the live arena. But for the players who haven’t yet or will not be taking the trip to Nevada, there was still plenty to play for on the online felt across the bumper Sunday schedule.

‘caddyjust66’ came through the 5,318 PokerStars Sunday Million player field to become $143,707 richer after they beat Gabriel ‘gabsdrogba’ Schroeder to the title. Romania’s Ciprian ‘cipiV’ Voican secured his biggest online cash by finishing in fourth-place for $49,665, which left the final three of ‘caddyjust66‘, ‘needdollarz’ and Schroeder to do battle for the remaining share of the $1,063,600 prize pool.

‘needdollarz’, who already has a Sunday Million title to their name after scooping the win back in June 2016 was the next to depart and took away $70,771 before ‘caddyjust66′ was able to become champion after they eliminated SCOOP title holder Schroeder into second-place for a career-best online cash of $100,847.

hashov888‘ was this week’s PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up champion for $36,508 after they defeated Lithuania’s ‘Mikensonas‘ heads-up. Belguim’s ‘ILAN17‘ took the bronze medal and $18,873 before the 1,125 player field had been whittled down to its final two. ‘hashov888’ ultimately got the better of their opponent ‘Mikensonas’ who had to settle for the second-place prize of $26,249.

Voinea ‘UnHuman3’ Cosmin added over $66,000 to their bankroll after they beat Aaron Been to the PokerStars $530 Bounty Builder High Roller crown. The win earns him the $36,635 first-place prize, as well as another $30,000 in bounties after he knocked out the Mexico based player Been into second for $26,853. Brazilian Rodrigo ‘selouan1991’ Selouan made up the top three and banked $33,000 including bounty prizes.

Argentina’s #1 ranked player Ramiro Petrone won over $67,000 after taking two silver medals. Recent SCOOP title winner and Canada’s current top player ‘OLD TIME GIN‘ banked $49,470 for beating Petrone heads-up in the PokerStars $2,100 Sunday High Roller. The Argentinian picked up $37,000 for the first of his two second-place finishes.

madridgalaxy‘ then beat Petrone, who played under the alias ‘letsgodancing’ for $42,207 in the partypoker $1,050 Deepstack-HR. Heads-up play was reached after ‘BenRichards1‘, Samuel ‘JHelppi’ Vousdon, and Guilherme ‘fulgencio1962’ Cheveau exited the final table and Pedro ‘zidanilo20’ Padilha had taken third-place for $21,838 before world number #7 Petrone became the final player to fall and banked $30,636 as runner-up.

The partypoker $530 Sunday Major High Roller title went to ‘simba8787‘ along with $28,545. They eliminated ‘mrCartmenez‘ into second-place for $20,778, with Pedro Padilha claiming a second bronze medal of the day, this time around it was worth $15,230 to him.

Specter_Litt‘ went the distance in the partypoker Super Sunday High Roller and turned $2,500 into $49,562. ‘mask0ff‘ fell just before heads-up play began, cashing for $22,112 in third-place, with ‘RedDwarf9‘ the player to fall at the final hurdle and took away the $33,550 runner-up prize.

babyarmcathead‘ and ‘BBRS2000‘ came through a 928 player field to reach heads-up play and agreed to money-deal in the partypoker $109 Sunday Major. The tournament carried a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool with $14,107 of that going to eventual runner-up ‘BBRS2000‘ and $15,852 awarded to ‘babyarmcathead’ for the win.

Over on 888poker, Sebastian ‘p000cket000’ Sikorski took down the flagship $1,050 The $100,000 Whale tournament. The former PocketFives world #1 collected $30,000 after they defeated ‘T54_IS_A_FAG‘ heads-up, who cashed for $20,000 on a final table that included the UK’s Marc ‘icallyamet’ Wright and Sam ‘sammygrinder’ Grafton.

In the $215 Sunday Mega Deep amaze1‘ got the better of Ivan ‘hurrrrican3’ Gabrieli for victory after a heads-up deal was agreed. After ‘_Zufurduo_‘ exited in third-place for $11,000, the final two agreed to a money deal. Gabrieli was awarded $16,565, and ‘amaze1’ took away $17,434 after coming out on top in the final battle.
