Sweden’s ‘lena900’ notched together another spectacular month and finished on top of the October MPLB with 3,770.24 points.

‘lena900’ has now won the MPLB three times this year, previously winning in back to back months in January and February. This ties him for the record for most MPLBs won in a year with Chile’s Nicolas ‘PokerKaiser’ Fierro who claimed this honor three times in 2015.

In addition to being the top performer in October, his year has also included sitting on top of the PocketFives Worldwide Rankings for one week from March 30 to April 6 and shipping three PocketFives Triple Crowns, one each in January, May, and August.

‘lena900’ impressively notched together 14 wins during October in tournaments tracked by PocketFives including capping off the month with a victory in the PokerStars $215 Sunday Supersonic, $175K guaranteed on October 30 for $35,964 and 472.64 PLBs.

Bulgaria’s Alex ‘alexd2’ Dimitrov, who currently resides in second place in the PocketFives Worldwide Rankings coincidentally snagged second place on the October MPLB with 3,547.83 points.

Dimitrov capped off a brilliant month with his sixth PocketFives Triple Crown after wins in the 888poker The $50,000 QuarterBack (October 27 – $10,750), the iPoker €10000 Master (October 30 – $2,976), and the WPN $20,000 GTD – High Roller (October 31 – $11,875).

After these two players, there is a gap of over 1,100 points for the rest of the top 10 on the leaderboard. Sweden’s Jerry ‘perrymejsen’ Ödeen and Brazil’s Joao Mathias ‘joaomathias’ Baumgarten finished in third and fourth place with 2,442.16 and 2,431.40 points respectfully.

PocketFivers from Sweden dominated the October MPLB claiming three of the top five and seven of the top ten spots. In addition to ‘lena900’ winning the leaderboard and Ödeen taking third place were ‘C Darwin2’ in fifth place, ‘Ariados’ in sixth place, Andreas ‘r4ndomr4gs’ Berggren in eighth place, Emil ‘Smeckten’ Ohlsson in ninth place, and Robin ‘inhoo’ Ylitalo in tenth place.

Also in the top ten on the leaderboard was Finnish poker pro Olli ‘OgSulttaani’ Ikonen in seventh place.
