Fifty-one players remain in the World Poker Tour’s (WPT) Seminole Hard Rock Showdown, which is playing out from balmy Hollywood, Florida. Las Vegas’ Taylorvon Kriegenbergh (pictured) is the top dog after three days of play and holds a monstrous stack of 1.08 million. Only two players – von Kriegenbergh and Abbey Daniels – have cracked seven-figures. In fact, they’re the only ones with over a half-million in chips.

Von Kriegenbergh knocked out Lauren locoenlacabeza Kling (pictured) on the very last hand of the night to solidify the top spot on the leaderboard. Kling’s chips hit the middle on a king-high flop holding K-10 for top pair. However, von Kriegenbergh had her trumped with Big Slick for top pair and a better kicker, which held on to send the top female pro home just shy of the money.

Prior to being eliminated, Kling was a one-woman wrecking crew, having sent homeMaria Ho, Michael inissintGlasser, and inaugural World Series of Poker Europe Main Event champ Annette Annette_15 Obrestad. The latter, a Full Tilt Poker pro, went busto after running pocket jacks into Kling’s cowboys.

Kling wasn’t von Kriegenberg’s only victim on Friday, however. Von Kriegenbergh sent David Davidp18 Peters (pictured) home just minutes earlier after a pre-flop all-in confrontation between Peters’ A-9 of clubs and von Kriegenbergh’s pocket jacks. The flop of J-8-5 improved von Kriegenbergh to a set and running kings gave him a full house.

Also making a late surge was Brent Astrolux85 Roberts. He was involved in a three-way all-in and held the best of it before the flop with pocket kings against two players with A-Q suited. The flop of J-6-3 with two spades gave one opponent the nut flush draw, but blanks on the turn and river awarded Roberts the pot. Roberts owns the fifth spot on the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Showdown leaderboard with a stack of 441,000.

Steven 19FMzadesterLevy, who held the third largest stack entering Friday’s action, hit the rail late in the day after running A-9 of clubs into pocket aces. The board came K-5-2-10-3 and that was all she wrote for Levy, who opened 2011 by final tabling the PokerStars Super Tuesday for $67,000.

Chris SLOPPYKLOD Klodnicki’s (pictured) final hand saw his A-J fail to withstand another player’s A-10. The flop of 10-8-6 sent his opponent out in front with a pair of 10s, and another 10 on the turn improved his holdings to trips. An ace on the river was the icing on the cake and Klodnicki was “wamboozled.”
