Belgium’s ‘girafganger7’ Soars to Career-Best Rank

Nobody had a bigger jump in the PocketFives Rankings this past week than Belgium’s ‘girafganger7‘, who moved from #39 to #5 – an all-time high. He was already the #1-ranked player in Belgium, and now has more than double the points of the next highest fellow countryman.

There were seven other players who hit career-high rankings in the top 100 this past week. Brazil’s ‘brunovolks‘ went from #33 to #27. James ‘Jaymo’ Noon rose from #50 to #38.

The $5M Club Finally Gets a German

This might sound like a surprise, but until this past week, there wasn’t a single PocketFiver from Germany with at least $5,000,000 in lifetime earnings. That all changed though as ‘nilsef‘ broke through the $5M barrier after posting a min-cash in the PokerStars Mini-Super Tuesday. The next closest German is Giuseppe ‘LeChiffre19’ Pantaleo with $4,967,677.

‘DeathByQuads’ Hits $3,000,000

Swedish online poker players continue to be a force on the PocketFives Rankings and the all-time earnings list. ‘DeathByQuads‘ passed the $3,000,000 earnings milestone this past week, becoming the 22nd Swedish player to do so.

Other players to hit million-dollar milestones this past week were ‘seahawk89‘ ($2,000,000) and MrNorberto ($1,000,000)
