In recent days, a thread appeared on PocketFives asking for who has the most number of final tables in tournaments we track in a 24-hour period. It turns out the answer is 27, set by Cristian ErMataNinho Sasso (pictured) in December 2013.

As PocketFives’ wackyJaxonexplained in the thread, “On December 4, 2013, ErMataNinho appeared on 27 final tables tracked by PocketFives for a combined $2,843.46. His best cash was for $786.50. He may also have the second best record, appearing on 24 final tables on February 18, 2014 for a combined $2,686.76. His best cash was for $342.63.”

As you can see, many of the tournaments are lower-stakes, and as wackyJaxon put it, “The tournaments were all with low buy-ins and most of them with low field sizes, but it’s still an impressive number.” Three sites played host to his record day and he’s definitely a high-volume player.

Sasso has almost $600,000 in tracked online MTT winnings and is the second-ranked player in Venezuela. He has an impressive 7,120 in the money finishes.
