Tournament Review for December 7, 2015
There was a 7-way final table deal in the PokerStarsSunday Million in which PocketFives member MickE of Sweden received the largest payout of $164,000 upon winning the tournament. The score by far represents by far the Swede’s largest online poker tournament cash, and could result in a Top 500 Rankings appearance.
PocketFivers took the top three spots in the Stars Sunday 500, led by Elf Kickerof Canada, who collected $53,906 for his outright victory. Fellow members reelhugefishof Costa Rica and therealfuddebuf of Denmark received $38,813 and $28,750 for their respective 2nd and 3rd place efforts in that event.
New Zealand’s domino20won the $530 buy-in PartyPoker“High Roller” tournament and chopped it evenly three ways with PocketFiver SuitedAcesBaby for $21,350. Dom also final tabled the PartyPoker “Heavyweight – The Main Event” for another $11,340.
The Full Tilt Sunday Major was won by Denmark’s Skrigepas (ranked #125 worldwide) for $12,395. With the win, the 33-year old online poker tournament specialist should re-enter the Top 100 Rankings once they update Wednesday.
