Tournament Review for 11-18-2005 through 11-20-2005
There were some big prizepools over the Pre-Thanksgiving weekend, including the PartyPoker $1M guaranteed, and as usual, there were several PocketFivers claiming their piece of the more than 3 million dollars in the major tournaments.
One of the big Sunday winners was pokertrip, who took 4th in the UltimateBet $150k guaranteed for more than $10k. BonesATLtook 3rd in the PokerRoom Weekly Big Deal $60k guaranteed, and reddog133was the 4th place finisher in the $100k tournament on Paradise, playing as thephen0m.
ActionJefftook 6th place in the Full Tilt $50k guaranteed, a tournament on the rise with a prizepool of more than $64k this week. DelaReinealso went deep in that one, finishing 12th, just off the final table. AawwNutzand BigGunXhad a similar fate in the Paradise $100k, taking 11th and 12th place respectively, while Prof Polomade it through, finishing 9th.
leggggggggggywas another big winner, taking 6th for $4,400 in the Bodog $100k guaranteed.
One more tournament of note was the Saturday $300+20 on PokerStars, which was won by TheDonator. Highyield6and Ian Jwere also present at the final table. At the same time, PartyPoker had a $300+20 tournament of their own, and muchakanearly took it down, finishing 2nd.
