Happy holidays to all P5ers! Sunday was Christmas Day and the first night of Chanukah, and because so many people were away, there were some big overlays in the weekend tournaments. It started on Saturday night with the PartyPoker $200k guaranteed, which had an overlay of more than $20k. Other tournaments that had overlays were the PartyPoker $750k guaranteed (almost $90k), Bodog $100k guaranteed ($44k), Full Tilt $60k guaranteed ($11k), Paradise $100k guaranteed ($10k), PokerRoom $80k guaranteed ($24k), and the UltimateBet $150k guaranteed ($26k). PokerStars added $100k to their $500 tournament, which was quite an overlay in itself.

Worthy of mention for the 4th week in a row is papoorboy, who "only" finished 12th this week in the $150k guaranteed on UltimateBet. It had been a month since the last time he was not at the final table of this tournament, including two weeks in which he won the event. Congrats to him on a truly fantastic accomplishment.

P5er Ira3801won the top prize in the $200k guaranteed on PartyPoker, which was $44k! Some other noteables to do well in the big PartyPoker tourneys were loewa79, who got 14th in the $750k guaranteed on Sunday, and anakinso, who finished 10th in the $200k guaranteed on Saturday night.

AawwNutzjust missed the win on Paradise, taking 2nd for nearly $14k. Some other P5ers to make major final tables were KUJayHawk08, whotook 8th on UltimateBet in the $150k guaranteed, t soprano(bobcards2), who was the 9th place finisher in the Full Tilt $60k guaranteed, foshio, who took 5th in the "Weekly Big Deal" on PokerRoom, and aggi3, who finished 9th in the same.

Another top online player, serb2127(Nenad Medic, who made the TV table at the WPT Bahamas this year) finished 2nd in the big one on PokerStars for about $115k.
