It was another weekend of impressive performances by some we've been impressed with before, as well as some new faces. On UltimateBet, we saw a player nearly win his third major $200 Sunday tourney, coming up just short at 2nd place. For Anakinso, a college senior who has already won the big PokerStars tourney twice, a prize of $23k was a nice consolation for narrowly missing the trifecta.

Jerrod, who has already recently won the $120k Guaranteed on UltimateBet, also had a great weekend, winning the Paradise $100k Guaranteed and placing second in a $100 Stud tournament on PokerStars. He made noise in some of the other tournaments as well, but these were the most noteable of the weekend.

TheRealBeat (TheBeat) was the highest ranked finisher (41st) in the 1/4 Million Guaranteed on PartyPoker, and on PokerStars in the $350k guaranteed, DJBigSlick (DJDaveCee) carried the torch, finishing 20th. Shaniacwon the $100 rebuy on PokerStars, raking in more than $18k!

Outside of the impressive performance by jerrod, there were several ranked players who finished high up in the big Paradise tourney, and those were DJDaveCee (7th), BamaEd(17th), KRISTEN(22nd), and Spencerman(34th).
