This was a special weekend for the biggest tournaments, as PartyPoker had their occasionally held $1M guaranteed tournament and PokerStars had their monthly $500k guaranteed. In the $1M, PocketFives regular Batera had a very impressive run, finishing 28th out of more than 2,200 entrants. In the $500k, the winner, brainwash, had come in 4th in the previous weekend's $350k guaranteed tournament, so that's another impressive double feat in these tournaments that seem way too large to facilitate repeat performances.

In the Friday Special $200 tournament on PartyPoker, JohnnyBaxternearly pulled off the win, finishing 6th. Another noteable with a high finish in this one was SamENole, who just missed the final table, finishing 12th. Later in the weekend, the PartyPoker 1/4 Million guaranteed was won by a regular high finisher on the site, BIGSkkY.

The Paradise $100k guaranteed final table was a smorgasboard of top-notch talent, with ShuMony2Nite, jacksup13, Sam E Nole, KRISTEN(BPWJR), and acesfull23 finishing 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th respectively. The win was especially nice for ShuMony2Nite, who came up just short 2 weeks ago, finishing 2nd.

On UltimateBet, acesfull23nearly made his second major final table of the day, finishing 12th, and sheetsworld and dandickauwere also just off the final table, placing 16th and 20th respectively. One PocketFives regular who did make the final table was AmsterdamMan(7th), who won more than $2,200. Congrats to AmsterdamMan!
