This was the last weekend of the month, which means PokerStarsSunday Million was a $500 buy-in this week. Over on Full Tilt, it was back to business as usual after all the excitement of the FTOPS last week. One of the big winners this weekend was yellowsub(pictured), who took down the UltimateBet 200k for $45,000. He wasn't alone, however. Pocketfivers were out in full force on all sites, putting together four wins and $587,899 in cashes at the final tables of this Sunday's major tournaments.

Right behind yellowsub in the UltimateBetmajor was klslcz, longtime pocketfiver and friend of the site. He took second for $27,000. Adding to the success of P5ers on UB yesterday was AJKhoosier1 who won the $500 buy-in 75k guaranteed for a tidy $20,000. Also at that final table were Ibluffuout4 and mindwise.

Last week Riverloser took second in the PartyPoker300k. This week his countryman ankstrajks, who plays under dswdo on Party did him one better by winning the whole thing. Sure $60,000 is nice, but bragging rights are priceless. Meanwhile, on Bodog, THAY3R couldn’t quite add to the win streak, but he did pull in $14,000 for his second place in the 100k. Pocketfivers dtodd97, Greek, and Balla-B13 also final tabled this event, finishing 4th, 8th and 9th respectively.

There were no huge FTOPS events this Sunday on Full Tilt, but the $750k Guaranteed has grown into quite an exciting event in it’s own right. Three Pocketfivers made the final table, earning $75k between them. NCSUBODOG was bounced early in 9th while Martine23 managed a 6th place finish for $23,233. Sugar D was the highest finisher in 4th place and $41,775.

Asiandude7made the most of his second chance in the Mulligan on Full Tilt, winning the tournament and $36,480. Phatcat was hot on his heels, finishing second. Imustcall and ACDollar rounded out the final table in 5th and 8th.

There were no huge scores this week in the Absolute150k, but THEMILTMAN should be happy with the $9,180 he took home for 5th place. OPIEKENT and APESTYLES finished 8th and 9th respectively. The $2601 is nothing to write home about for Apestyles, but in the writing of this article Pocketfives discovered that he did not have his screen name filled in for Absolute. So, ship a few hundred more PLBs from the past three months Ape’s way. It will be interesting to see if it makes a difference.

Last, but certainly not least, there were the four major tourneys on PokerStars. Pokerstars means huge fields and huge prizepools and Pocketfivers took home their share of the loot as usual this week. Two P5ers made the final table of the Sunday Million; scarface_79 finished 6th for $40k and pokerguru69 came in 8th for 18k. In the Warmup jpmetalman, mgw21, and ael1979 went 4,5,6, each making a five figure score.

In perhaps the most impressive feat of the day, mgw21 final tabled both the Sunday Warmup and the Second Chance. He took 5th early in the day and 2nd later that night. The combined scores were worth $46,000. The final table of the Second Chance was actually packed with Pocketfivers. Donk5layer and DF_Newb went 3-4, and Allingomes, SCTrojans and hoodini10 finished 6th, 7th, and 9th.

The $200 rebuy draws a much smaller field than the other Sunday tourneys, but a much tougher one as well. Six Pocketfivers outlasted the talented field to make the final table. Premier, mastr, and Roothlus finished 6th-8th while Anbessa, ch0ppy, and gotskillz took 2nd-4th.
