Tournament Review for April 27, 2015
The biggest cash by any PocketFiver over the weekend came in the PokerStarsSunday Million, as the United Kingdom’s Scott Aggro Santos Margereson finished on top of the 6,393-player field to win $194,479. This is the third tracked six-figure score Margereson has recorded.
Germany’s cube.comalso had a nice payday in this tournament, finishing in third place for $102,288. Canada’s Sammy illraiseyou8Lafleur won $40,915 for his sixth place finish and Sweden’s Homeflax won $9,909 being the first player to be knocked out on the final table in ninth place.
Also on PokerStars, five PocketFivers were featured on the final table of the $530 buy-in Sunday 500, lead by Germany’s micide, who finished in first place of a three-way deal for $56,396. Denmark’s Skrigepashauled in $44,673 on a star-studded final table that included ale6kafrom Belarus, American poker refugee Elliot elliotpetPeterman, Chris Gettin DaizeOliver, and Germany’s paulefaul.
Finland’s Europeanbeat out a field of 913 players to finish on top of the PokerStars Sunday $100 Rebuy. Australia’s imluckboxand stinger5158, Belgium’s pczxmg, and Denmark’s Jungleras also were also competing for the top prize on the final table of this tournament.
Over on 888 Poker, it was Canada’s Justin justin ouimetteOuimette continuing his winning ways by shipping the $100,000 Mega Deep for $34,608. Czech Republic’s Lukas suk12 Soucek also made his country proud with a runner-up performance in this tournament worth $22,495.
