There were a pair of PocketFivers who earned six-figure cashes in the PokerStarsSunday Million over the weekend. Thanks to a four-way final table deal, China’s born2badbeatand the United Kingdom’s buriedatsea took home $106,077 and $113,232 for their respective 2nd and 4th place finishes.
Argentina’s Festivusscaptured an outright victory in the Stars Sunday Warm-Up for $81,023, which could put him back in the top 100 worldwide. The Argentinian was at a final table that was watched by more than 13,000 viewers on Twitch, who tuned in to see Canadian jaimestaples come in 5th place for $22,307.
Former top 30-ranked Olorion of Poland will move up in the Rankings on Wednesday after taking down the Stars Sunday Supersonic outright for $47,068.
RhoNinof the Russian Federation was the top PocketFives member in the Sunday 500, earning $31,828 for his 3rd place effort. Meanwhile, 37th-ranked Pot4teUS of Sweden was awarded $23,952 for 4th place.
Sergio zcedrickAldo of the United Kingdom (ranked #340) won the 888Poker $150k Guaranteed “WHALE” and collected $37,718. Hungary’s Ballage87(ranked #389) took down the PartyPoker $150k Guaranteed “Heavyweight” for a payday of $24,667.
PocketFives members occupied the top three spots in the Sunday Storm, led by 403rd-ranked BenFaz of the United Kingdom, who collected $29,246 after outlasting more than 31,200 opponents.
