The summer continues to heat up at the online poker sites in the regulated markets of the United States. Players in Nevada, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania enjoyed another weekend packed with huge guarantees as the WSOP.com’s Online Championships and partypoker US Network Online Open continued and the PokerStars Bounty Builder Series got underway.

Officials at WSOP.com have to be happy with the performance of their Online Championships series that is running right alongside their 2020 WSOP Online bracelet events. On Sunday, all three of their six-figure guaranteed tournaments shattered their guarantees as players seem to have no end to their appetite for these events.

Joshua ‘emoveganguy’ Steiner battled through the 1,144-player (734 rebuys) field of the WSOP.com OC #49 ($100 buy-in $100,000 NLHE Player Appreciation) to grab the $29,199.14 first-place prize. The score is a career-high online cash for the PocketFiver who now boasts over $450,000 in total lifetime online earnings.

Finishing right behind Steiner was ‘blueberry’ who earned $18,003.25 as the runner-up. Paul ‘ToTheMOON’ Dewald grabbed third place for $12,958.20.

Outside of the WSOP bracelet event, the biggest tournament on the schedule was WSOP.com’s OC #52 ($320 buy-in $200,000 NLH Sunday Special). ‘benjahmane’ outlasted the 579-player (455 rebuys) field to take home $46,809.18 for first while ’GoneBananas’ fell in second place which was good for a $34,680.36 payday. The former #1-ranked player in the USA, David ‘bewater’ Goodman, took home the bronze and a $25,591.50 score which will lift him up over $1.8 million in career online earnings.

In WSOP.com OC #52 ($1,000 buy-in $100,000 NLH High Roller) ‘GatoVolador’ locked up the victory and for a healthy $52,939.08 score. Michael ’THICC’ Del Vecchio earned second-place honors and the $39,925.11 that go with it. Finally, longtime grinder Simon ‘justtakeit’ Deadman had a nice day, finishing in third place in this tournament for $29,716.54 as well as a top-three finish in the WSOP.com $50,000 Weekly Sunday for another $18K score.

As the WSOP.com series is hitting its stride, PokerStars is just getting started with its popular Bounty Builder series which kicked off in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey this weekend.

Keystone State player ‘Christophonic’ grabbed the biggest PA payday after they fought their way through the 1,060-player field of the PokerStarsPA Bounty Builder Sunday Special to earn a $7,185.38 first-place payday plus an additional $5,614.20 in bounties.

While it was ‘king12929’ who earned the PokerStars PA Bounty Builder Kick-Off event crown, taking home $3,725.64 and another $3,072.53 in bounties.

Joining the winner’s list is ‘Prixzky7’ who rose to the top of the PokerStars PA Bounty Builder High Roller for $4,041.38 plus $4,124.73 in bounties.

In New Jersey, ‘donnysack’ took down the PokerStars NJ Bounty Builder Sunday Special for $3,770.83 and another $3,783.53 in bounties. ‘rimmer27’ finished as the runner-up, taking home $3,770.72 and $883.14 in bounties. The current #1-ranked player in the USA, Yong ‘IFoldN0T’ Kwon continued his domination by making multiple final tables on Sunday, including here in which that brought him $2,474.54 and another $1,348.51.

There was a four-way chop of who’s who in the PokerStars NJ $500 Sunday High Roller as David ‘coles93’ Coleman was the official winner, earning $2,838.24 while Michael ‘J3tBl@ckP0pe’ Gagliano locked up $3,200.40 for second place. Again there was Yong ‘IFoldN0T’ Kwon as the third member of the chop, earning $2,868.52. Finally, New Jersey grinder ‘$gt. Tibbs’ took home $2,842.84 in the deal as well.
