Viktor 'papan9_p$' Ustimov earned his first WCOOP title on Tuesday hours after finishing third in a WSOP event (WPT photo).

Viktor ‘papan9_p$’ Ustimov had himself quite a day on Tuesday. The Russian grinder finished third in the final event of the 2020 World Series of Poker Online and then went on to earn the first PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker title of his career.

Ustimov outlasted 629 other players in Event #31 High ($530 4 Max NLHE) and made Guillaume ‘Nolet20’ Nolet a runner-up for the second time in two days. The win, Ustimov’s first in a WCOOP event, came with a $54,378.13 payday while Nolet had to settle for $24,289.73.

Fellow Russian ‘YacuTTi‘ also scored a WCOOP title on Tuesday, after topping the 897-runner field in Event #29 High ($1,050 NLHE PKO). The victory was worth $63,991.96 and they added another $65,080.01 in bounties.

The third Russian victor of the day, ‘recusant_89’ shipped Event #30 High ($530 Six Max NLO8) for $28,917.97 and their first WCOOP title.

The biggest winner on the day came from the conclusion of the two-day Event #25 Medium ($2,100 NLHE Sunday Slam). Lithuanian ‘NoTilit‘ beat Christian ‘WATnlos’ Rudolph heads up to win the title and $228,462.96. Rudolph added $167,305.66 to his bankroll for finishing second.

There were seven other players who ended Tuesday with a WCOOP title including ‘MpZancan‘ (Event #25 Low), ‘Schildy1984‘ (Event #29 Medium), ‘Gagarinec1‘ (Event #29 Low), ‘Turok11-S’ (Event #30 Medium), ‘StillGrim420‘ (Event #30 Low), ‘doungara‘ (Event #31 Medium), and ‘SergeBD‘ (Event #31 Low).
