While one of the storylines heading into the final weekend of PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker is the number of first time WCOOP winners, there’s also been a handful of players that have picked up their second or third title. Connor Drinan joined that group on Thursday, beating the former #1-ranked player in the world heads-up.

Drinan topped the 424-player field in Event #62 High ($530 Eight Max Pot Limit Omaha) to win $37,999.85 and his second WCOOP title. ‘C Darwin2’, who has held down the #1 spot on the PocketFives Rankings for nine weeks, took home $28,244.06 for finishing second.

Drinan’s first WCOOP came last year in a $320 Six Max No Limit Omaha Hi-Lo event.

The biggest winner on Thursday was Canada’s ‘Carster’, who took home nearly $90,000 after winning Event #59 High ($530 No Limit Hold’em Six Max Progressive KO). He earned $58,119.09 for the first place finish and an additional $31,587.02 in bounties. Lithuania’s ‘tomas2242’ finished runner-up for $40,495.019 while also collecting $18,419.15 in bounties. Benny 'toweliestar' Spindler finished fourth for a combined $26,000 in earnings.

Possibly the most star-studded final table on Thursday was Event #60 High: ($2,100 Triple Draw Deuce to Seven) where ‘kkopghy’ beat out a group that included Mike Watson, Bryn Kenney and eventual runner-up Ronny Kaiser to win $53,320 and his first WCOOP title. The big names were no matter ‘kkopghy’. He eliminated every single one of his final table opponents on his way to victory.

In Event #61 High ($2,100 Heads-Up No Limit Hold’em), the final two players, ‘0$kar15’ and ‘silentm0de’ chopped up the remaining prize money before playing the last match of the tournament. In the end, ‘0$kar15’ emerged victorious, taking the $66,899.98 winner’s share while ‘silentm0de’ took $55,980.02 as runner-up.

Last but not least, Jack 'jAkDAriPAA' O'Neill beat out 1,779 other players to win Event #63 High ($215 No Limit Hold’em) for $53,897.70 and his first WCOOP title.
