And with PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker underway, Turner is in action and after Thursday’s action, he’s now a 2017 WCOOP champion.

Turner topped the 208-player field in Event #13 (Six Max Pot Limit Omaha Eight-or-better) to win $35,991.08. The win came after the final three players made a deal.’BlackFortuna’ finished second and won $29,910.04, while ‘Zanos_Goda’ took home $30,308.74 for finishing third.

Despite all of his previous online tournament success – $7.86M in lifetime winnings, four Triple Crowns – this is the first COOP title for Turner.
