Sunday was yet another busy day on the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker schedule with four events wrapping up and one of poker’s top players walking away with his first WCOOP title.

Philipp ‘philbort’ Gruissem beat out the 676-player field in Event #45 High ($215 Six Max No Limit Hold’em (w/rebuys)) to win $75,414.36 and his first WCOOP title. Gruissem now has over $3.5 million in online earnings to go along with his nearly $11 million in live earnings.

Özgür ‘phaplap’ Arda finished as runner-up, earning $53,544.15. Former WSOP Main Event champion Martin Jacobson finished third for just over $38,000.

The biggest winner of the day was ‘ruthless848′. The Canada-based grinder won $207,240.30 for winning Event #47 High ($2,100 Eight Max No Limit Hold’em). To claim his first WCOOP title, ‘ruthless848’ had to beat out a final table that included two recent WCOOP winners and a German wunderkind.

‘DSmunichlife’, who won Event #30 High last week, finished runner-up for $153,671.78. The #2-ranked player in the world, ‘veeea‘ finished third for $113,950.20. The Russian grinder won Event #6 in the opening days of WCOOP. Finishing seventh was Ole ‘wizowizo’ Schemion.

Five months ago, ‘anti-durrr’ won a Spring Championship of Online Poker and $220,000. On Sunday he added the second piece of the COOP Triple Crown by winning Event #44 High ($530 No Limit Hold’em (Progressive KO)) for $39,218.12 plus an additional $31,559.46 in bounties. Dinesh ‘NastyMinder’ Alt finished runner-up, earning $28,697.58 plus $12,894.52 in bounties.

The final WCOOP title awarded on Sunday went to Dutch pro ‘raare01’. He beat out 265 other players in Event #46 High ($1,050 Six Max No Limit Omaha Hi-Lo) for $50,582.46. Finland’s ‘fers223’ earned $37,493.44 for his runner-up finish while former #1-ranked Joao ‘IneedMassari’ Simao took third for $27,791.53.
