Yuri Dzivielevski has had himself a pretty decent start to the 2020 PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker. The former PocketFives #1-ranked player won his second career WCOOP title on Wednesday. On Sunday, he doubled his pleasure by becoming the first player to pick up two titles this year after denying a fellow Brazilian that same distinction.

Dzivielevski, who won Event #9 High ($1,050 NL 2-7 Single Draw) on Wednesday, beat Murilo ‘Muka82’ Figueiredo heads up on Saturday to win Event #20 High ($1,050 HORSE) for $31,115. Had those two positions been reversed, Figueiredo would have become the first two-time champ of 2020. The Brazilian picked up his first WCOOP title of the year earlier in the day by winning Event #22 Medium ($109 NL 5-Card Draw). Former #2-ranked ‘huiiiiiiiiii‘ finished third behind Dzivielevski and Figueiredo.

Peru-based grinder ‘salamandryko‘ beat out 47 other players to win Event #22 High ($1,050 NL 5-Card Draw) for $19,617.65. Naoya ‘nkyeno’ Kihara narrowly missed out on a rare double after finishing runner-up in Event #22 High and Medium on Sunday.

Other Sunday WCOOP winners included ‘Wall131TCI-I‘, ‘aleksandrs10‘, and ‘Philych_085‘.
