Weekday Tournament Review for May 15, 2015

It has been a busy week online with the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) in its first week on PokerStarsand the iPOPS wrapping up on Mybet/ bet-at-home/ William Hill/ iPoker.

The iPOPS Main Event featured three PocketFivers on the final table, led by Brazil’s Andrey andreyluisLuis, who took second place for $37,178.82. Also navigating the field of 3,326 players to reach the final table were Portugal’s AKupaA(fourth place for $18,930.50) and Denmark’s YukoEgawa (sixth place for $10,471.46).

Over on 888 Poker, two PocketFivers beat most of the 327-player field in the $100,000 Volcano. Uruguay’s veeeacashed for $9,237.75 for his sixth place finish, while Malta’s Dimitar bipbippp Yosifov cashed for $5,542.65 for his eighth place finish.

Austria’s Dattebayohad a big win in SCOOP-09-H: $1,050 NL Hold’em – Super Tuesday SE, beating out a field of 1,723 players to win $288,602.50. Lebanon’s Nicolas nicccChouity took home $49,967 for finishing in seventh place, while right behind him was the United Kingdom’s Jack JackerzzzzzzLoraine ($32,737 for eighth place) and Sweden’s perrymejsen ($17,746.90 for ninth place).

SCOOP-10-H: $1,050+R PL Omaha [6-Max]came down to an exciting finish between James Andy McLeodObst and 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Joe jcada99 Cada. After the dust settled, it was Obst winning $166,980 for first place, while Cada banked $116,506.50 as a consolation prize.
