Win your way into the WSOP's 2019 $888 Crazy Eights on 888poker.

For plenty of players taking their shot in the Main Event of the World Series of Poker is the ultimate dream. But the truth is, playing in any WSOP bracelet event, no matter the size of the buy-in, is something special.

That’s why some of the more moderately priced tournaments on the massive WSOP schedule are so popular. Even though they may not have $10,000 in their bankroll, players from all over the world still have a shot at wrapping their wrist with a gold bracelet. One of the most popular of these more accessible bracelet events in the past few years has been the 888poker branded $888 Crazy Eights.

888poker is, once again, an official partner of the 2019 World Series of Poker and one of the only places players can win their way into the $888 Crazy Eights. 888poker’s online satellite gives players far more than just a seat into the event. The entire package is worth $2,700 and offers three nights accommodation as well as extra spending cash to help you with travel and food expenses. It’s one of the most complete WSOP packages available and the qualifiers are running every week to help you get to Las Vegas this summer.

The Buy-In

The most direct route to winning your $2,700 package to the Crazy Eights tournament is by hopping in one of the many direct $109 qualifiers. When you play one of the $109s, there’s no next step – win and you’re in!

However, for some, taking shots in a $109 satellite may be a little rich for their bankroll. That shouldn’t stop players from working their way into the tournament. 888poker offers satellite steps that start for as little as one penny. Literally, $0.01.

Here are the steps that you can use to earn yourself a $109 ticket:

  • Step 1 $0.01 to win a $0.10 Step 2 Ticket
  • Step 2 $0.10 to win a $1.00 Step 3 Ticket
  • Step 3 $1.00 to win a $5.00 Step 4 Ticket

Those $5 Step 4 tickets can then be used to win a $109 ticket.

Additionally, 888poker is running $16.50 WSOP 2019 Sub-satellites for the Crazy Eights.

Get In The Game

The $109 direct satellite to the WSOP 2019 Crazy 888s Package can be found in the Live Events > Tournaments tab in the 888poker client.

Unlike some of the Step satellites that come before it, the direct satellite to the Crazy Eights is not an everyday offering. The tournaments run on Sundays at 20:05 GMT and again on Thursdays at 17:35 GMT. With $100 going to the prize pool, one out of every 27 players will win the trip. However, many of the tournaments has started with fewer players, providing some overlay but also making these tournaments a winner-take-all scenario.

What You Win

If you end up being the winner, a World Series of Poker experience is yours for the taking. You receive a $888 seat into the 2019 Crazy Eights, three nights stay at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Cainso (the home of the WSOP) and a bonus $1,000 to cover travel expenses. Really, the buy-in is the least of the prize!

So, if you book the win you’ll need to book your flight to Las Vegas. The event has four starting flights, the first of which kicks off on June 28 at 10:00am local time.

Tournament Info

There are two different $109 satellites to the Crazy Eights.

The Sunday satellites offer a 5,000 starting stack with 10-minute blind levels. It has a slightly slower structure and allows for two optional rake-free rebuys in the first two hours of play.

The Thursday tournament offers a 10,000 starting stack with a slightly more accelerated blind structure (for example: the 100/200 appears as level 4 on Thursday as opposed to level 8 on Sunday). It also has two optional rake-free re-entries for $100 for the first 90 minutes.

Like the Main Event qualifier, the tournament needs a minimum of  six players to run. While there have been some tournaments with overlay, getting six players to battle for a seat in the Crazy Eights is not a problem so these tournaments will be expected to take place each week.

Next Step

If you take home the $2,700 package to the 2019 Crazy Eights it’s time to plan your trip to Las Vegas.

The hotel is taken care of, but you’re going to need to book a flight to be there by June 28. So, book that travel and make sure you check out everything you need to know about the 2019 World Series of Poker just in case you decide to take a shot in another bracelet event or side tournaments.

Once that’s done it’s time to prepare to play and dream of what you might do with that $888,888 first place prize!
