There has been a ton of demand to have Winamaxadded to the PocketFives Rankings. Every time someone has asked whether PocketFives plans to add Winamax to our leaderboards, our response was always the same: “We’re working on it.” Well, we are pleased to say that Winamax has been added to the PocketFives Rankings effective May 1. And, you can boost your PLB score by playing in Sunday’s €200,000 Guaranteed on Winamax. All European Union players are welcome on Winamax.

The €200,000 Guaranteed Main Event on Winamax takes place on the first Sunday of every month. The site has routinely been able to cover its guarantee and so made the decision to lower the buy-in from €150 to €50, making the tournament more accessible to all members of the site.

As text found on the site explains, “You can buy in directly to the tournament for €50 or alternatively you can qualify through our daily rebuy satellites starting at just €2.” You can find qualifiers to the Main Event by selecting “Qualifier” in the “Tournament Type” filter.

Whereas most Sunday Majors are over and done with in one day, Sunday’s €200,000 Guaranteed on Winamax spans two days. Day 2 of the tournament begins on Monday at 20:00 CET and plays down until a winner is crowned. Each player begins with a stack of 20,000 and blinds kick off at 50-100, meaning you’ll receive 200 big blinds from the get-go. The price of poker ticks up every 20 minutes.

On all other Sundays of the month, Winamax runs a €100,000 Guaranteed that also has a buy-in of €50. The starting stacks and blind levels are the same; the only difference is that the blinds go up every 15 minutes instead of every 20 minutes. According to Winamax, the tournament typically got between 1,300 and 1,400 runners before the buy-in was lowered.

Winamax is giving away five tickets to the €200,000 Guaranteed to the PocketFives community. The qualifier will take place on Sunday three hours before the €200,000 Guaranteed starts and will have a buy-in of just €2. Visit this thread in the forums in order to claim your password.
