Starting on April 6 is the ninth Winamax Series. This time around, 69 events will comprise the Winamax Series IX schedule, starting with a whopping eight events on April 6. Highlights of the first day include a €50 buy-in No Limit Hold’em Two-Day Event that will crown its champion on April 7 as well as a €300 buy-in No Limit Hold’em Six-Max Two-Day Event that guarantees €175,000. The richest tournament on the schedule starts with the first of three Day 1s on April 13, a massive €150 buy-in Million Event that, as its name implies, comes with a €1 million guaranteed prize pool. The tournament has three starting days and is the lone entry on the Winamax Series IX schedule to have a seven-figure guarantee. You can qualify into the Million Event as well.

During the eighth Winamax Series, the Million Event had a prize pool that nearly hit €1.3 millionand there were 1,658 registered players. A heads-up deal saw the winner walk away with €191,000, while second place banked €169,000. Seventeen of the 64 tournaments held during Winamax Series XIII, or 26%, boasted prize pools of at least €100,000.

Full ring, six-max, four-max, three-max, and heads-up events will all be held in disciplines including Hold’em and Omaha. Multi-day and re-entry tournaments also abound and many of the events are priced between €10 and €50, ensuring there’s a little something for everyone.
