If you live in the EU, check out the Winamax Series VIII now underway on Winamax. The total guarantee for the series, which covers 64 tournaments, is a healthy €5 million and there’s even a unique, low-cost way to get into the first tournament ever on Winamax with a €1 million guarantee. Anyone from the EU is welcome to play on Winamax.

The €1 million guarantee tournament is the richest of the Winamax Series and begins on Sunday, January 12 with Day 1A. It has a €150 buy-in, is a re-entry tournament, and will spread three starting days. The finale will play out on Thursday, January 16 at 20:00 CET.

Instead of paying the €150 buy-in for the Million Event, Winamax is offering a satellite for its communities, including PocketFives, that costs €5 to enter. It’s called the “Last Chance 4 the Million Event” and comes your way on Sunday, January 12 at 18:00 CET. There are nine tickets to the Million Event guaranteed and if the prize pool grows larger than the value of the nine tickets, more will be added.

To take part in the “Last Chance 4 the Million Event” tournament, follow these steps:

1. If you do not already have one, create a Winamax account through PocketFives’ links. When you do, you’ll also get one free month of PocketFives Training when you make a deposit.
2. Log into the Winamax Poker software.
3. Go to the “Tournament” lobby and select “Community” as the tournament type.
4. Select “Last Chance 4 the Million Event” and click “Register”.
5. Enter the tournament password available here.

There are a handful of tournaments each day during the ongoing Winamax Series. On Thursday, look for a €100 No Limit Hold’em Six-Max event that has three starting days and a guarantee of €125,000, which should be of interest to PocketFivers. Plenty of freerolls also pervade the schedule if you’re short on dough. Next Monday, one of the concluding tournaments is a €50 No Limit Hold’em Six-Max contest with €100,000 guaranteed.

Winamax Series events come in all shapes and sizes, including No Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, Limit Hold’em, full ring, six-max, shootout, four-max, heads-up, and bounty. Buy-ins range between €10 and €150, so there’s something for everyone.
