March was another month of multi-table tournament madness as the PocketFives community took to the 888poker tables to take advantage of the ever-improving schedule.

Malta’s current #1-ranked player, ‘wisoooo’ topped the 888poker earnings leaderboard in March with a pair of dominating performances in 888poker’s flagship tournament, The $50,000 Whale. In the March 10 edition, he made a final table appearance, finishing in sixth place for $3,245. Just two weeks later, he captured the score that placed him at the top of the earnings list. On March 24, ‘wisoooo’ took home the $50,000 Whale title and earned $22,000 for first place, defeating Sam Greenwood in heads up play. His monthly total was in excess of $25,000, over $5K more than the next PocketFiver on the list. ‘wisooo’ is currently the #47-ranked player in the world.

Whereas ‘wisoooo’ put together his haul with a pair of high roller scores, Rui ‘ruiarts’ Rodrigues grinded the 888poker schedule, cashing 31 times for a total of $20,049. His spotlight score came at the beginning of the month when he took the bronze in the March 3 edition of the $100,000 Sunday Sale Mega Deep for $12,649. The Brazilian has really been stepping up as of late, putting together over $20,000 of his career $62,000 in a single month.

Tim ‘REALTTWIST’ Kelly takes third on the earnings list in March thanks to his runner-up finish in the March 10 $50,000 Whale for $14,750. He picked up four cashes in the month bringing him a grand total of $17,633. There’s a good chance you’ll see him in next month’s report as well as he just won the April 1 edition of the $100,000 Sunday Mega Deep for over $19,000.

888poker Top 10 Earners of March 2019

Brazil’s Flavio ’Flavio Felipe’ Costa has unseated Russia’s ‘Neverhood007’ this month to sit atop the 888poker most cashes list. Costa put in heaps of volume and ended the month making it in the money an astounding 139 times. Costa is generally a small stakes grinder and this month he accumulated $4,841, averaging roughly $35 per cash. He finished in the top three spots 9 times out of the 139 results, giving him a  6.5% podium finish percentage.

Even though he’s not in the top spot, ‘Neverhood007’ is again in the top three, coming second on the list with 77 in the money results. This is actually a down month for the micro grinder as he had dominated this category for the past three months. He picked up $1,871 in March, averaging $24 per cash and claiming two victories over that span.

‘BLaaZeKuSH’ is no stranger to crushing on 888poker and this month he found himself in the money 65 times. He took three victories and earned himself $4,899 which was just enough to help him earn the $1M lifetime earnings badge.

There’s a tie at the top of the most victories on 888poker with ‘JonnyWhite1’ and ‘William Meaney’ both taking down seven tournaments in March.

Hailing from Russia, ‘JonnyWhite11’ is a micro-stakes grinder who made the money 41 times pulling in $1,768 in the month. In addition to his seven victories, he had 10 additional podium finishes. He had over $630K in career cashes however he is just getting started playing on 888poker, with just over $12,000 in earning on the site.

‘William Meaney’ is from the UK and also went on a heater on 888poker. He basically took two months off from playing on the site only to return to the small-stakes tournaments and pick up over $2,600 in earnings.

Right behind the two players at the top is ‘Flavio Felipe’ who topped the above list of most times in the money. He picked up six total victories which contributed to his aforementioned $4,841 monthly earnings.
